HOW TO CROCHET: Cardigan sweater for boys and girls up to 5 yrs "James" Hoodie Pattern

- To crochet this James hooded cardigan pattern design, sweater, jacket or coat with hood smaller or bigger by simply changing your hook size and making it in the exact same way as this tutorial (see below) with same stitch count and same number of rows. Just remember that these sizes are not exact since not all babies are the same size and since tension varies from person to person which can affect the final size. TO MAKE SMALLER OR BIGGER:
3-6M use a 2mm hook with #3, DK or 8 ply yarn
6-9M use a 2.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
9-12M use a 3mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
12-18M use a 3.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
18-24M use a 4mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
2-3 Yrs. use a 4.5mm hook with #3, DK or 8ply yarn
3-4 Yrs. use a 5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn
4-5 Yrs. use a 5.5mm hook with #4, Aran or 10ply yarn
Materials used:
*Hoodie sweater= 185g total of DK yarn for 9-12m size ( I used Cygnet Babysoft DK yarn). You can also use any yarn with similar weight like #3 or 8ply.
*Five 13mm size buttons
* Approx. Gauge: 2in = 8 rows/12 sts
