August I could listen to you talk tree stuff, saw stuff, and people stuff all day. However as a 62 year olds climber with 43 year’s climbing in the rear view I better just get back to work. Things just take me longer than they once did so I will finish this video after work. Thank you for years of great stories, insights, and wisdom.
Well, I too would like to thank Joe Johnson. Thank you Joe for making August giddy up in a tree. That saw seemed to make August feel good ....real good and everyone is better for it when August is happy. Honestly I love watching ppl do what they love and what their good at. Like ol' times, indeed, August!!!
Great job and what a great gift. Glad to see your back is getting better. What an act of kindness, Joe J. Stay safe and I'll catch yall on the next one.
I worked electrical line clearance from about 1978- abt 1990 back when it was DRT and tautline hitches. Still work a few trees on our acreage and do a little climbing from time to time. I enjoy watching your video's and seeing the new equipment and techniques used now. Also enjoyed your interview with the legendary Jerry Beranek from awhile back.
Great video August. Looks and sounds like Joe did a great job on the 200. Glad you are back to work. Have a blessed weekend and tell the rest of the crew that you couldn’t do it without them. They’re awesome too.
That shirt at the end says it all. Man I don't know how to say it other than just saying it, agape. You are an inspiration to the treeple out there and a greater influencer than you may ever know. Keep up the good work that is put before you . Glad that you finally got a Lazer pointer back in yer hands, that extra weight is worth it in the gold
🌲Always enjoy your videos! Thank you to Joe Johnson You did a Great thing ❤️ That saw sounds awesome I enjoy the banter with Damien and yes, you look good up there! Love your t-shirt phrase 👍 Looking forward to next video with Hez ✈️ Great video
How comforting it is to find August up a tree at midnight here in N.E.OH. I know I’ll be tired enough in a hour or so to go back to bed. He may consider himself to be a monkey beaver, but I know him to be a wise and intelligent gentle man. Thank You! N.E.OH Bob
I just recently bought a monkey beaver 1.0 with a water pouch thank you August for the amazing product.I love watching your videos hope to meet you someday.
Killer saw August. Congrats. Great job Joe Johnson. I hope this is new footage August. There's no way your work is going to slow down. The weather's got everybody confused. I'm working on my own trees until things pick up.
glad your back is getting better .200t are great saws. Have 2 020t's still running strong. But haven't used them or 540 gas in over 2 years. Love my 540t battery saw. no noise,no starting 500 times a day. no vibration. had serious elbow problem all gone after a month using battery saw.
That is a proper 200t August! 😎👊 I appreciate watching you use the wind dropping those limbs. MonkeyBeaver crew keeps on makin' the hard work look easy! Keep yourselves safe! 😃👍❤🌲 Randy
Only arborists understand what a pleasure it is to work at a bird's eye view with a stunning view of the surroundings. And we do this work not even for money, but because we love it the most, it is our calling and the meaning of life.
Okay Martin. I will write through a translator. But my native language is Russian and the translation is not always the literal sense of what was said. For that, I can read your comments almost without a translator, but I can’t write the text in English yet😁
August you are awesome, thanks for sharing the limb hinging by cutting in a little. Simple thing perhaps but I don’t think I would’ve thought of it myself if you hadn’t shared. Saw sounds good, I still have my first 020T which still rocks, it reminds me of that one. Would definitely be interested if Joe Johnson is interested in doing that kind of saw work for hire. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah!!! Ol' What's His Name. You know him, too. He use to work with us back 30 years ago. Cool dude. Only drank beer when he was alone or with somebody.
Stihl 200T was the best top-handled (not to be routinely used 1-handed) saw in its day for sure. 1st gen 201T sucked, but the 2nd gen 201TC will by far outperform any old 200T stock saw, but obviously not a modified version. Nice job guys.
nice video. quite the tall tree. im a-okay with watching an hour long uncut video of only helmet cam footage. i feel like it shows the cuts and everything the most detailed and i can always pick up something from it. the 200t rips wow.
Crisp running saw sounds like lots of velocity in the intake.I would think that's all positive for an in the tree saw. Who does the editing ? Pretty nicely done videos.
I Love watching you in a tree !!!!!! And I love watching you try new thing's like the battery saw and the 2511 and I'm 60 so I like the light saws... but you with a modded 200T is just the Bomb 😀 when you find out about Joe please let us know... I would Love a 200 that runs that good !!! Thank you August... was missing you very much !!! ❤
What is that gray stringey stuff that's on the limbs of the evergreen trees you climb ?...I'm here in Mid-Atlantic, Virginia. South of us along the coastal planes beginning in North Carolina we have a similar growth. The strands hang from limbs, are very long and it's called Spanish Moss...
Saw sucks! You have great saws, PM me for the address to dump that old hunk of junk 😂. Waaaaaaaa. Glad you are feeling better- pain makes the day go so slowly. Cutting trees is good for body as well as the mind! Four thumbs up Mr. H !!!! The camera work is always excellent. You have figured out what to do as well as not to. 😊
"made for this" is not an exaggeration. If tree surgeon is in the dictionary you are the picture next to it. that saws idle is at " give me something to cut" sounds great!
the o20t is one of the greatest saws of all time

Hey John. Perhaps you convert your answer to English? Our automatic translation fails for your text.

The Master Tree Faller at work - Salute
Saw sounds good to me. Starts well, revs quickly, pulls strong and sounds great. August of old just do not get too carried away.
Turns out you're proficient with a saw and a sewing machine! A man of many talents
Ooh give away of a 200t 😂. I want one last one I had was 10+ years ago. Miss them.
You gents make this look so easy. It’s so awesome watching all your incredible skills and experience at work. Luv that 200t👍

I've got a 200t that was ported by bell hopper,it's in need of some much needed attention. I say the t is for tired...💚🌳👊👍🌳💚

I blew the cobwebs off of my 200t yesterday. I wasn't in the biz when they canned em, so it's cool to have one

Joe is the fuckin man, damn good dude and builds a mean saw
How can I get ahold of Joe? The sound of that 200 gives me chills
He is one heck of a saw builder.
Love the 200t, love the 020t more. Just never liked the Flippy caps. Then again I own an 034 and 044 so I'm probably biased haha.
Just super cool all the way!
I Love watching you in a tree !!!!!! Subs going up fast. It took you years to gain the first 50k, now look, they're multiplying fast!

Man! How tall was that tree? It took forever for the top to hit the ground!
Great video
Monkey Beaver should design a nice cinching anchor for DRT thats all their own.
"made for this" is not an exaggeration. If tree surgeon is in the dictionary you are the picture next to it. that saws idle is at " give me something to cut" sounds great!
