I'm going to be studying at the Royal College next academic year and my teacher has set me loads of art songs to work on. I've prioritised the French melodies as I have always found French hard and avoided performing it to an extent - but I've realised it's time to really crack down on my fear of this😂 I always find singing in German, English and Italian more natural to me. I'm Ukrainian myself, so maybe it is because Ukrainian is quite an open language so I am not used to nasal vowels 😄anywhos I just came across this video somewhat late and found it so inspiring - French music is so beautiful❤🎶

Thank you, Lisette, for sharing your joy and bliss which helps to make our world a better place. I'm writing a new opera - maybe you should record a new album of this opera. The music is mostly finished - the libretto may take another month. This is my first opera, however, I've previously written a dozen musicals, nearly 1,000 songs total and dozens of screenplays for feature film. I'm also an operatic soprano with a repertoire of over 50 arias from Mozart, Puccini, Rossini, Donizetti, Handel, Verdi, Vivaldi and dozens of other composers which includins the Bell Song, the Doll Song, the Jewel Song, Juliet's Waltz, Musetta's Waltz, Magda, the Queen of the Night and so on.
This new opera is epic in scale ... like taking the most dramatic moments from Wagner's Ring Cycle and Semiramide, Salome and Aida, pumping them up 1000 times ... then we're getting close to the level of jaw-dropping, eye-brow raising, mind-blowing battles and arias in my new opera.
