People are losing everything because of a war they don't have anything to do with, it's as sad and miserable as it can be, and yet, people in the comments find a way to be racist and insensitive.
I love learning about geopolitics and geography. Unfortunately, it seems that far-right racists do too just to be able to blame extremely complex issues on who ever they hate. It's a sad fact, but "real people" would empathize with South Sudanese people.
Racist comments are the last thing you need to worry about. How about the fact these human beings are living under the lowest quality of life there is.
@@MomoEstUnArtiste I'm without doubt that you, as an African are personally unable to fund, man and guarantee the peace keeping missions the AU is currently involved with alone.
This NEEDS TO CHANGE ugh UGH. Hate the lack of energy. The lack of ability. The lack of "money" (means). We cannot as a human society CONTINUE to stay here WATCHING THESE VIDEOS from so far hoping someone ELSE "of the right type (activist or whatever)" will take care of the situation - We need to TAKE CARE OF EACH OTHER. It must hurt to see people leave one by one - only adds to the pain of being left behind. We need a Systematic (multi-pronged) approach. I have no money but if I can find a Reliable, Efficient way to send $30/children (thanks to this eye-opening video of communication) I will give that at the least/MINIMUM. Education is a priority - the smarter the people are, the more they can be self-sustaining and independent if connections cut with the outside world. But that, in duality, with nutrition ("food"), security, (needs) and options/opportunities. We need to, yes, re-establish hope for escape like with the US (amazing shout-out to the US government and social workers), but (as we can see from the "unexpected" factor of 9/11 cutting refugees) simultaneously rebuild this area, the area around BOTH Kenya and South Sudan and move our way up. And seeing "Arabs" as an "enemy and cause of this" is no solution. Yes, the area is unstable people are conduits of that instability, but it is IMPERATIVE that despite our differences we are able to unite and help the people here or those in Pakistan in drought or (even in some ways worse) all of the people who see this in a place of security and "scroll by" because "someone more equipped" will take care of it. No. We need to put on our hearts on our sleeves. I don't care if it's only me (who was born into this world after these atrocities began) or just a few of us or most of us - This Has Gone On For Too Long And It Needs To End. It doesn't matter if you nor I don't have the ability to do anything right now. We need to become stronger. We need to look after one another. We need to build up both the species around us, ai and other currently non-conscious objects, and the rest of this Earth and beyond in a positive direction. There is no "Simple few solutions" - this is highly complex and we ALL need to be involved RIGHT NOW. Excellent video from this channel - thank you for bringing awareness to these issues on a local, specific level.
You've been there for 2 decades, let that be your home. The UN and African Union should train people with skills, and create jobs. Basically resettled properly in Kenya. 20 years, that's your home, not a refugee camp.
Dear Africa you have the greatest Suffering in the World ! If I get the World on my Side I can help you and end the suffering and I will be able to help you !
Living in the first world, looking at the food wastage, I wish I could give these guys those perfectly fine foods. Australia has so much flour, it's so cheap here so how come we're not donating? Oh right, there's no profit in giving. Sad reality. Wish I could change that.
Unfortunately, the food being donated isn't always the problem. Getting the food to the people that need it the most is the challenge. Due to harsh environments and corrupt government a lot of the donations stay with those who have the power.
I dont understand. If they are having so much trouble with food, why do they keep giving birth to children? Do they not feel responsible for starving the next generation?
“The disciples came and asked Jesus, ‘Who, then, is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven?’ He called a little child to him, and placed the child among them. And he said: ‘Truly I tell you, unless you change and become like little children, you will never enter the kingdom of Heaven. Therefore, whoever takes the lowly position of this child is the greatest in the kingdom of Heaven. And whoever welcomes one such child in my name welcomes me. If anyone causes one of these little ones-those who believe in me-to stumble, It would be better for them to have a large millstone hung around their neck and to be drowned in the depths of the sea. Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to stumble! Such things must come, but woe to the person through whom they come!’” - (Matthew 18: 1-7) -

Literally what I was thinking. But then I thought that they might not have contraceptive options. Still, I could understand children born before the war broke out but after, child birth should have declined. Maybe it has, but I don't have any data regarding that. Please share if you have any data regarding that.
I feel bad they don't get it the my freedom and rights are not a place they are a idea. If you want to be in the US you have to make it and preserve it. Making it is easier than keeping it. Just my opinion.
If Sudan enforced its own laws, then this reporter would've been given death sentence (I may be wrong but I remember him to be from LGBTQ community). So in one way at least, it is good that it is lawless country. Though it is all still very sad.
The reason was because back when south Sudan and Sudan were one country, the government attempted to islamisize the south resulting in a rebel group who led by Dr John garang who fought for peace and independence for south Sudan which they finally got in 2011.

I know. If people are in desperate situations its just sad, but if they arent white use it to be racist.
Where is the African Union in all this? Africa is a huge continent, I refuse to believe that there is nowhere these people could go and start a life.
