Am I missing something here? Raw files are ALWAYS edited non destructively no matter what raw editor you use. This video seems to be suggesting that it's unique to Serif Affinity!
You’re missing the fact that even after you have started editting you can return to the develop persona and tweak your original raw processing WITHOUT having to start from scratch again. Your edits you made after previous develop are still present. Affinity is miles ahead of Photoshop in non-destructive processing.

In the original Affinity if you went into develope you could'nt go back to the same settings
