Thank you!!! 🙏 I’m Doing ok! Stress load is manageable with the many different things going on. My daughter does well during the day. It’s the evenings/nights/down time where she has some trouble. Funeral is Tuesday next week. Thursday we leave for graduation weekend and we will see family. Im hopeful that getting away for a few days will help.
Praying for J s family and for praying for E and for your family.Holy Spirit was speaking to you all in different ways. J is in the arms of JESUS . Miracles are answered to different ways. JESUS died and gave life J died and changed the lives of others. Cry with E and gives hugs and listen or just sit with her . Your other daughter encouraged her hug her she is hurting also. Your heart is with both of them and they each know. Praying for you to help each one of them. Thanks for sharing. I have lunch with a friend that her husband died 2years ago suddenly she just needs to have someone listen to. She has done the grief sharing also. Doing much better she knows she will see Joe again in heaven . Both believers
That’s wonderful to hear about your friend’s progress. ❤ I’m so thankful we have Jesus to get us through all of this. Thank you for your kind words 🙏❤️
Exactly a year ago i lost my best friend, my mom, due to medical negligence. My youngest was graduating a week later, her first great granddaughter born a few weeks later, then my 28 yr old nephew was murdered. We are all reeling still. What to celebrate what to mourn. I'm so sorry for your daughter's loss, for your family's loss. The dreams and tears have continued for me, but the Lord is faithful. God bless. 🙏🏻🐦🙏🏻
Oh my goodness!!!! 😢😢 I can’t imagine what that roller coaster ride has been like for you. Probably tortuous!😩 I pray God’s strength and peace for you and may all your cherished memories bring you lots of smiles. ❤
Thank you ❤ for sharing, by you sharing we your followers can help you grieve ,and you can help your daughter stay strong 💪. Again thank you for staying positive, and staying focuse.
Awful…just awful. I’m so, so sorry for all. I’m sure her friends will rally around her, and how bless she is to have a Mother like you. The same thing happened to my group of friends. He wasn’t wearing a helmet and went head first into a car, T-boiling the car. We all got each other thru it and now can talk and laugh about him and his personality. We all miss, but we are lucky to know him. Do not stop talking about him, but let her bring him up. If long periods of time goes by, you start the conversation in a positive way…just my two cents. I know everyone here has wonder ideas for you guys to help her along her way. It’s her first death…close death. There will be more, so how she handles this, I think, really matters. Sending love, support to you and all….❤
I am so terribly sorry. Life must go on for the rest. I have found that you can face anything if someone else is counting on you. Handling your own feelings and being there for others is indeed hard. I know that; I have been there. This needs to be understood by both sisters as well. You had me in tears over your acceptance of the answers prayers of J's saving organs are to others. I wish we could just have a long talk, but you seem to be growing in God. I am not trying to compare, nor do one-downs-manship, but I want you to know that I deeply understand. I have also been through terrible situations, an din grief, yet others were in need of an uplifted mom/grandma/wife at the same time, and unfortunately, most of the time my feelings came last. I am glad that you are handling it as you are. A few nights ago the best friend of my grandson's roommate and that fellow's sister,( grandson's GF), died at 28 in his sleep. Everyone is in shock. Many people do not believe that men and women can't be friends, but my son had one in college who used to visit us for holidays because her family was so far away. They are still friends via phone occasionally, although both are married to others and have children. I was the supportive friend for years for my husband when he went back to the seminary, and when was engaged to another. (We may need these experiences, God help us.) I firmly believe that The Lord lets those He calls to let others know that they are doing well. I have experienced it and heard many stories from those who were surprised by these. Continue to be open to The Lord's graces and signs. Prayers for you, your daughter, all of your family and J's parents and family. We will understand everything when we meet Him.
What beautiful words! Thank you! I appreciate your willingness to share something personal. May we all lean on God and on each other in these days ahead. 🙏❤
Sassy my heart goes out to your daughter and family. I'll be keeping you in my prayers. You're right, no preparing can prepare you for this. But what a glorious day it will be when you meet again one day up in heaven. Thank God for that hope we have as believers.
I completely understand my best friend Jim he was my everything people thought we were married but we weren’t then he got sick with lung cancer I took care of him for his last 3 years and I promised him I would care for his cat I still have her she is 17 I so miss him with everything I do he has been gone since 2009. They say time heals all wounds it’s bologna it’s don’t you just live daiywith out your other half you will always feel as if something is missing cause there is something missing half of your heat is gone. I am so sorry for your child to go through this I am sending my thoughts and prayers to all of you all and his family also
Aww, I'm so sorry for your family and all that you're experiencing. The heaviness of holding both of those things (joy and grief) at the same time is a lot. I pray you all come out on the other side stronger in your faith. Praying for that young man's family too.
I pray that you and your family is comforted by the Lord during this difficult time. I will continue to lift you all up in prayer because there is no way to be prepared for something like this. We don't know how we will respond until we actually face it. Trying to rejoice with one and grieve with another simultaneously is a big ask while still compartmentalizing your own emotions. I know you can and will do it because you are a strong woman and Jesus is with you every step of the way. I'll close with this verse that I hope gives you some encouragement and I will keep praying. My heart goes out to you all and J's family. 2 Corinthians 1:3-4 "Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God."
🙏no words can diminish the pain, no thought can fill the hole in your heart from this loss. May compassion and the love of God suppress the pain and grant you peace. May Numbers Chapter 6 verses 24-26 provide you, your family, and J's family some comfort
Prayers for his family & your family, especially your daughter. Great video, Sassy, especially considering what a tough topic. Bless you and thank you for reaching out & sharing & trying to help others during your own grief. ❤
My condolence to both families. May you find harmony, clarity and peace for this time in your life ! 💚
