That's the same thing everyone said with old Brig in some of Jays older videos. It didn't matter how good you were when you could just shield bashed and beaten to death by a bronze.

@@simonterkelsen4732 Cant tell if youre being ironic or not, but the reason is that Orisa feels unfair to fight against, as you dont require much skill to effectively use her, all there is is not using all your abilities in a too short time frame, a bronze shouldn't be able to completely disable a top rein player just cause of their hero in the way orisa does
@@pokeydude But orisa isn't even that strong in regular games tho. The problem in any 1v5 is that if the whole enemy team is countering one hero, especially one as weak as rein, it's obviously not going to go well for the one player.

i like this take tbh, gives rein a bit more viability but i don't think it'd be too much. it'd be a bit much if they made it unstoppable like mauga's but just dmg resist is pretty nice

Anyone else seeing how fucked up it is for a guy that hit rank 1 on Rein struggle against a bronze Orisa because of how easily she can walk all over Rein? Honestly, I think it would go a long way for Jav spin to just not affect Rein
It is actually worse then it looks. Every member of a team who pulls equal weight should be contributing 20% to the victory.
This means that to be on par with a bronze team, the Top Rein player should have his character buffed by 80% to compensate for the missing members.
He is getting stat buffs to Rein above 200% and still struggling.
Using this logic, that means that just for him to keep up with others of his rank, his team is actually contributing 50% more to compensate for him playing Rein.
That is just how big of a nerf playing that hero is.
@TheKillerman3333 Lord I know it too. I'm a Diamond Rein, and it just feels like sometimes there is not a damn thing you can do
@@amicosayshi865 Exactly. The biggest flaw Rein has is something outside of the player's own control.
As we saw in this video, the hero can receive as much as 2.5x buffs but without even a single other team member, a bronze Orisa can still take out the highest level Rein player because it was the Rein's team doing a majority of the work at higher levels of game play.
Even having unlimited fire strikes or unlimited charges wasn't something i took into consideration for my math.
If we consider how he could also skill spam, it makes the top Rein player look even worse, therefore showing that the team he was on was working even harder to compensate for how bad the hero actually is.
@@TheKillerman3333 And even worse, they can't buff him in any significant way, then he becomes a metal rank pub stomper.
@@amicosayshi865 you are spot on. Even when making videos like "dates when each hero was overpowered" no one can point at him and say "this was when he was the meta leader"
I would wonder something. Would giving him a buff where by "while his sheild is deployed, the team gets a 5 or 10% damage buff while shooting through his shield" or something like that. If he isnt going to be able to do damage while it is out anyway, there should be more of a trade off.

If the ban for Sombra still exists, it feels justified to ban the horse aswell

every 9 in 10 matches I get that tank players who immediately swaps to orisa the moment they start loosing. in the 90 other games they just start with orisa.

Yeah it should have been easy for bronze until the point where bowie was able to oneshot tanks with a firestrike. They just had to pick bastion, Mei, zen, orisa, lw and that's it. Rein can't do jack shit about it

Often times i've noticed that u are unnecessarily mean or sarcastic to new viewers. And not in a "haha-thats funny" kinda sarcasm but downright condescending type. And I agree that most of your "mean" remarks are often just friendly banter kinda stuff but when u do that to a new viewer who doesn't know of that side of yours, from their point of view it would just look egotistical. Its Streamer's Guide 101 man. Be nice to new viewers, get them engaged and thats how u grow as a streamer.
