To be honest, I kinda like the wooden furniture. I get that you wanna make it modern, but the wood makes it look really comfy and cozy :)

I just had a conversation with my brothers about that whole thing. Cozy isn't bad at all, but I prefer a lot of white in my room not because it looks more "modern", rather it's a clean and open feeling I get from having that sort of furniture. So if I have any colors, it's always cool colors because of that same reason ^^ I don't mind cozy, just prefer open
Then again they could have still used the furniture and painted it white but I still looks amazing either way :b

I think I have a similar projector. It’s ski light 2.0 and it’s connected to my phone! it’s the same ish thing you got so I can still get up and change it but it’s a good convenience that it’s connected to my phone. Love your room!!
