For real, thank you for outlining this build here!!! Extremely helpful guide.
Thanks for making this video. I'm new to playing Baldur's Gate. I've read alot of the books/graphic novels and really enjoy D&D lore but Ive never played a game before. I was a barbarian but after I picked up Karlach i definitely wanted her in my party so I switched to a vengeance Paladin. So now I'm learning how to play as one and tjis video is great teaching. Great job! 💪😎👍
Damn, you put together excellent build guides. It's a shame that I didn't find this channel earlier - and that you don't have more builds up! ;)
Would be awesome to see a Vengeance Oathbreaker build and how to level it and play it. Your way of explaining and your voice is very soothing. So I can follow very easily without stressing out.
Can you make a build that actually makes use of acid? Maybe with necromancy if needed
How do you get those stats? Im vexed by how many stat increases your character has! Please enlighten me 🙏 thank you!
i usually never imbrove my stregth ability i use the potions for that so can i get tought as the second feat and sentinel on last feat ?
You don't need tough, there are way better feats. If you're using strength elixirs, then you could go for alert for initiative.
For anyone wondering allowing ethel to live under any means will break oath
W build. No need to multi class 3 classes which throws off the entire RP of the game And the build sucks until act 3.
So I tried to take points out of one ability and into another (constitution) but it wouldn't let me. Am I missing something or does it not work like that anymore? I just started playing the game for the first time on Series X yesterday, so maybe that's something?
I think it works a little different on consoles idk. I remember someone having a similar problem when it came out on ps5.
@Crozyn Ok, I figured it out. I didn't know you had to take two points out of an ability to add just one to another. I didn't pay attention to the 8 intelligence and 8 wisdom in the guide 🤦
I have two paladins in my party and dealing with mother superior was difficult with that many enemies
Can you apply this for aoths of the ancients?
Apply what? The advantage? That's exclusive to 3 points in vengeance paladin.
@@Crozyn ah i see thanks had a tough choice between vengeance and ancients i thought i could get the best of both worlds lol
Overall vengeance brings more to the table, though aura of warding from ancients is pretty nice.
Is it worth being an oath breaker or ‘remaining pure’?
Vengeance is the most versatile spec so I would reclaim oath. "Pure" generally just means sticking to one spec, or in this case all 12 paladin levels. So pure could be anything (pure oathbreaker, pure vengeance, etc.).
@@Crozyn okay cool thanks. Does eating tadpoles benefit this build in any way?
I only ever used the early tadpole powers. The good ones are "luck of the far realms", "favorable beginnings", "ability drain", and "cull the weak".
I was told not to use odd numbers when choosing your attributes?
That's correct in some cases, but it just depends on how you level up. Some feats give you an odd number (1), so starting odd isn't a bad thing. Bottom line is you want even numbers at level 12.
What boots are you wearing
Boots of persistence. My apologies, some of these earlier BG3 builds I didn't go over every armour piece.
Can you still do this build if you’re a oath breaker paladin?
Yeah you can, but I feel oathbreaker works better with warlock. You will miss out on vow of enmity from not being vengeance pally.
What's the most fun paladin class? Then tell me what's the most fun class in all of the classes.
Most fun paladin class is probably ancients or vengeance. Most fun class in general - depends. I enjoyed the abjuration wizard I created on the channel.
Finally a YT video that is about a pure build not multiclassing 👍
Paladin-Warlock multiclass is pretty strong and awesome...
@@misterr3653but also lame
@@misterr3653it also makes no sense lore wise
@@lordcommissar7813 No, they changed the lore in 5e to not be just dedication to a god, but it can be belief in justice etc. You can still have a character who signed a deal in the name of vengeance while swearing an oath to take down the people that wronged you.
@@justvibing1889 ahh yes the oath of vengeance paladin believes in justice and fighting the greater evil... also worships the fiend
