I love this song; it is so pleasant. I have the 45 on Warner Brothers 'Back To Back Hits' with The Last Leaf on the flip side. Not the original, I know, but it is still nice to have. Great new mix, Pat. Thank you for this wonderful upload.
Absolutely superb quality on this stereo conversion of a song that was a favourite of mine from summer 63. I'm going through your posted videos from old to new and keep discovering new gems - have created a new Radio Wollaton favourites list ! Thanks yet again Pat for all your hard work which I know is appreciated by more and more of us.
@@radiowollaton8521 Yes I had thought it must be 500+ but didn't realise it would be into four figures ! There are worse things to do - and it only goes to show how much effort you have put in.
FANTASTIC mixing of the voices and instruments on this. This song gets my vote for all-time best, one-hit-wonder. Their voices match so perfectly. Don't get me wrong, the lead singer is great, but the precise rhythm and timing of the background singers borders on phenomenal. I've always said that background singers have never gotten the praise due them. This is true with so many groups.
@@radiowollaton8521 With regard to backup singers not getting the praise/credit due them, this applies to so many groups but I esp think of the original 4 Seasons. Everybody knows that Frankie Valli had great voice. But he would have never had the success he had without the original 3 backup singers: Bob Gaudio, Tommy DeVito, and Nick Massi. Yet F.V.’s name is almost exclusively associated with that group. And one more… Carl Wilson never got the recognition he deserved as lead guitarist of The Beach Boys; esp for his performance at the original BB’s concert album of 1964 in Sacramento, CA.
やはり、悲しき雨音は、カスケーズ・・聴くたび昔、昔の遠い日の出来事を想い出し泣けてきます😊私の大好き💕な唄です‼️😊😊😊😊😊😊

I saw this group aboard the Coral Sea aircraft carrier in 1968 while the Vietnam War was happening

1963 is my favourite of the 60s. This is one of the best tracks of that year, beautifully remixed by your good self!
Thanks Bill. This one remixed well
Totalmente de acuerdo bB

Qué bonita canción. Gracias por recordármela.
Sounds great 👍
The souvenir I have of this song was Sylvie Vartan”En ecoutant la pluie tomber”

The picture used looks alot like a group from Brooklyn, The Mystics. Those are the guys who did the song "Hushabye"
Not positive if it's the Mystics, but definitely not the Cascades...great mix in any event
