I was listening to an old dubstep mix and a remix of this theme passed by (dubstep remix by Beat Splitters), I really liked the melody so I did more research about it and it happens to be a bosstheme from an old arcade game called "Touhou". After listening to the origjnal soundtrack, I instantly got the idea to make a hardstyle remix of it.
This is my second ever hardstyle track I have made, so comments, constructive criticism are all welcome!
I hope you enjoy my style of hardstyle :)

EDIT: Rediscovering this 6 years later now that I'm an avid gym rat is actually crazy. This still goes so hard, especially during a heavy set lmao.
Glad you enjoyed it! This theme is an introduction for me to the franchise and I heard it has more themes like this, I'll be sure to check them out and maybe do more remixes of Touhou in the future!

I did some more research of these Touhou soundtracks, and I got to say some of these are pretty good and catchy like this one. So what I am saying is, that there are more remixes of this game (also in other genres) upcoming :)

Several hard style DJ's have Masterclass Courses, pick one, they'll clue you in how to do the proper fill-ins to get the full-essence quality. Fun Fact: The "original generation" at one point all shared the same building, that's why they all collabed with each other so frequently and so well, they shared an identical canvas of sound, and that's the secret to why there are so many versions of hard style, yet they can all mix flawlessly, it's in the background. That's why anybody outside of that group, can't get it to sound like they do it, it's an industry trade skill secret that protects the quality of the genre from amateur versus professional.

as long as it's in 192kb/s sound quality won't be affected as youtube has new audio encoding, as long as people watch in the new layout it's all good, besides this sounds really nice.
