Please join me in singing Seiun Kamen Machineman… We’re finally singing it this week. It still breaks my heart knowing that I could’ve sang this earlier if I just followed my schedule but I decided to sing a different song that week. I’m still sad about Osamu Sakuta-san’s (the lead actor of Seiun Kamen Machineman) passing. 💔 I know that Machineman is not as popular as the other older tokusatsu shows in its time but it has its own charm. Ken Takase or Allen in the Philippine dub is a remarkable protagonist to us. My cousins and I used to watch this show when it was aired in local TV. One of my uncle’s friends really looks like him (complete with the eyeglasses, too!) so we used to call him “Kuya Allen” but I doubt that he gets where it’s from. 😅 Aside from Allen, who could forget “Buknoy, the fighting ball”? It’s amazing how a baseball could be so cute. 💖
I’d like to dedicate this to our one and only, Machineman, Mr. Osamu Sakuta. Thank you for being a special part of my childhood, our childhood. I believe that every 90’s child who has seen your show won’t forget you and will always remember you as one of their greatest hero. Rest in Power. 🙏

I heard of this show but never knew much about it so I decided to check out the opening and your cover of it. The opening is pretty good, but your cover...oh my God I LOVE IT!!! Wow! I can't express how impressed I am by not only your vocals, but also your interpretation! You just became my favorite cover singer ever. If you could, please kindly do a cover version of "Kimi no seishun wa kagayaite iru ka", the theme of Choujinki Metalder? I feel that is the most epic theme out of any Tokusatsu ever, besides the beautiful lyrics that really represent the 80s. I'd truly appreciate it as a new fan of yours. PS. A Juspion cover also would be awesome as mentioned already by some comments, specially my favorites "Space Wolf Juspion" or "Powerful Fighter Juspion".
