My wife told me Addie is actually a cancer survivor from St. Jude that Brad met. Brad explained it all on Sirius Radio. You can really hear the passion she has, cause she truly knows the meaning of being alive.
This song hits me hard my 4 yr old is battling cancer. Keep up the good fight Addie. Thank you St. Jude for all you do for the kids fighting for their life

After a hit and run accident I´ve been uncontious for three days at intensive care.
When I woke up the doctor told me that 8 out of 10 wouldn´t have survived these injuries.
I´m glad to be still alive right now
by the grace of god somehow
and the knowledge of my medicine men.

I love Bucked off and My Miracle. But this song is not good in my opinion. Horrible production and the chorus tries too hard to be memorable. I miss old Brad. He's my favorite artist. I grew up on him, Alan Jackson, Clay Walker and George Strait. But since "This is Country Music" he kind of lost himself. There were some great somgs on Love and War, Last Time for Everything and Gold All Over the Ground. But then there's a lot of generic stuff surrounding it all just like this song. It's noise with lyrics that tries to be smart but doesn't really work. Disappointing.
This is an amazing song for anyone fighting. I know a few people that are battling or have battled cancer. God bless all who are fighting and I pray you get better.
