For me, this game will always be remembered as the best way the Sengoku Era and the Sanada Clan could have been presented. Not only is this the most intimate you'll get to reliving the story of the Sanada Clan, it also provides you with so many historical knowledge through the various dictionaries, all while at the same time, immersing in that event that's happening as you interact with people outside of combat. Koei Tecmo has managed to make base interactions very engaging in this game, I'm genuinely curious of how everyone's thinking after every main event. I felt for every generic officer that stood with the Sanada clan. In combination of the ever fun beat em up, Koei made a masterpiece. This is like a marriage of history and gaming, a feat very few games has done so well (the other being NFS: Porsche Unleashed). I'm fine with SW5 not having Yukimura, we already got this game to live by. This game is just that good.
8:24 The voice actor really did this line too good like he was battling many samurai officers to extent of being over-exhausted and still has the will to battle amazingly beautiful really
its not tragic end for the sanada tho the clan still alive they made their goal they just wanted their clan to survive and they did survived and the clan still exist in 2023 which is amazing
Idk but the battle after Sasuke's death hit me really hard when Kunoichi was worrying about Sasuke when he didn't come back, it was like... She lost her "little brother" yet still insist that he's still alive, she's gonna be alone again with Yukimura, so sad
This entire battle has immense emotional weight to it. Naiki, Sakubei, Sasuke, and everyone involved in the Osaka Castle, they all fought for Yukimura, it's really moving.

I think what's even more sad about this is that the song of the Sanada includes Hideyori, who you never saw :/ but anyway, long live the greatest warrior in the land, Sanada Yukimura!
FrenchOverlord I find that really funny since this game started the suggestive dialogue that is now appearing frequently in Musou Stars. They can't add Hideyori but they can add a scene that implied Koshosho and Motochika liked to get down and dirty
welp i think that Koei are just scared to destroy the image of Hideyoshi they made in the SW series but anyway the real play boy here is Toshiie i.imgur.com/v0S5bzN.jpg
@@EmmyOnUA-cam Do you know? she led an army of Ronin to revolt against the Tokugawa Shogunate? well technically ieyasu did trying to find an excuse to eliminate Toyotomi heritage, just to eliminate possible threat for "everlasting" peace
Im just sad that this game is not that popular I remember i grown with this game And in my opinion SW2 is still the best And god this whole series soundtrack.....
Bro the mf was so legendary that he was damn close to beating Ieyasu, at the Osaka Summer Campaign and that literal soldiers had to surround him even when he died
Dunno which Sanada Yukimura is cooler, this version or the Nioh one. Since his armor design in Nioh was closer to the historical source and not to mention he look exact his age by then in 1615 as a late worn out middle age guy.
hmmmm i'd say this one because with the romantization made by koei this Yukimura truly felt like a hero, but for the armor my vote definatly goes for his Nioh conterpart. I kind of wish we could of had the special armor colloboration the JP version got :/
FrenchOverlord I think the Japanese release. There are a DLC costume based on the NHK TV serial which sort of accurate portrayal of Yukimura historical armor and favorite spear
FrenchOverlord I tried to wait for the DLC but it never came out :/ although the default is "okey" but sometimes the Musou series outfit look too "cartoony"
Also thanks to Nioh, I got alot of info from other famous Western generals that wasn't mentioned much like Wikipedia for example Tachibana Muneshige, never realized The West had an equivalent of a warrior that is on par with Honda Tadatsku in terms of martial art skill. Strange that there aren't make much appearance of him in pop culture compared to Honda.
14:44 Hidetada: An everlasting land of peace...we Tokugawa created...! I won't let you ruin it! Yukimura: I commend your commitment, but...! I will keep breaking through! Hidetada: Gwaargh! Ngh! Huh!? Stop, Yukimura! YUKIMURAAA!! Yukimura: Yukimura Saemon-no-suke Sanada, will never die!! Hah! Sei! Hrngh! Hah! WOOOOOOOOAAAAAAHHHHHHH!!! Yukimura: Ngh... Sorry for being a great burden to you. Kunoichi: It's fine. I'll just do his part as well, anyway. Soldier: haah... Haah... Kunoichi: !! Yukimura: Stop. Kunoichi: But Milord! Yukimura: It's all right... *Cough* give it to my brother.... Kunoichi: But I...! Yukimura: ....please... Kunoichi: ...sir! Soldier: hah...hah... Yukimura: My life is yours....
No I believe it was Yukimura seeing Nobuyuki one last time at the bridge where Nobuyuki gave him the three coins before he went to the Uesugi as a Hostage where they made that pact or vow It is also said that they needed Six Coins to be able to pay the boatmen to allow them to cross into the Next life Yukimura had three when he died but he gave them to Kunoichi to give to Nobuyuki so I assume he couldn’t pay the boatman? Or maybe he did? Idk thats as much as I know But idk why I shipped him and Chacha soo hard 😢 The way they talked about where they wanted to go after the war ended got me so emotional
Hanzo Hattori no Yukimura died. He was seeing a hallucination of his brother. It doesn't really explain but I'd like to think that it meant that yukimura is forever watching over the Sanada Clan.

Very well put. I hope the SW5 series has something like spirit of sanada except it's about Oda Nobunaga since that's what SW5 is based around
8:24 The voice actor really did this line too good like he was battling many samurai officers to extent of being over-exhausted and still has the will to battle amazingly beautiful really
That's Sakuragi Hanamichi (Slam Dunk), Trunks (Dragon Ball Z) to ya.
11:25 the best BGM in the whole samurai warrior series
sw3 winning theme was better
And thus, the fall of the legendary Last Warrior of the Sengoku Era bring the abrupt end of the Toyotomi's comeback. Tragic end indeed.....
But hell, he went down like the legend he was, he beat most of the officers in the Toyotomi Army like bitches, and he died killed by none!
You mean of the Tokugawa Army?
its not tragic end for the sanada tho the clan still alive they made their goal they just wanted their clan to survive and they did survived and the clan still exist in 2023 which is amazing
@@Nani_M and both sides survived
Who else was sad when Naiki died? I know I was.
yeah that was a hard blow since he was there since the beginning of the game it was the first NPC I cared about in a warrior game haha
Same here my dude.

I played The game before I found your play through , I watched all of your episodes, It was great. I loved playing this game .
I think what's even more sad about this is that the song of the Sanada includes Hideyori, who you never saw :/ but anyway, long live the greatest warrior in the land, Sanada Yukimura!
yep, i think koei decided to just replace Hideyori for Chacha to remove the akwardness that she was Hideyoshi concubine o.o

FrenchOverlord wasn't expecting that. But I still say that title belongs to Hideyoshi since he made a concubine of the person he protected the most
can't argue with that :P
The saddest thing is Nobuyuki is fighting his own brother it made me realize to never turn on my brothers
Chacha did say she wanted to go somewhere warm...
nice haha

I could of Yukimura and Chacha was really dear friends to this time, cause both long time near together.
