The Patrol formed around 1979 - 1980 by John Squire, Ian Brown, Andy Couzens and Simon Wolstencroft.

Track 1 also known as “Jail Of Assassins”
The Waterfront formed around 1983 - 1984 by John Squire, Kaiser (Dave Cartey). Andy Couzens, Mani (Gary Mounfield), Chris Goodwin. The line up changed throughout the two years (including additional member Ian Brown). The band at the time also went under the name The Fireside Chaps.
Tracks 3 & 4 - Demos Recorded Unknown, Manchester, 1983.
The Stone Roses formed Late 1984 by John Squire, Ian Brown, Andy Couzens, Reni (Alan Wren), Pete Garner Tracks 5-17 - Garage Flower Recording Session 1 Recorded Strawberry Studios, Stockport, Manchester, January 1985.
The Garage Flower LP was due for release in late 1985 / early 1986 and was produced / recorded by Martin Hannett. The LP was due to be released by Thin Line Productions but the recordings fell into the hands of Zomba Records who finally released the finished recording on CD in 1996 under the title “The Stone Roses - Garage Flower”.
