How To Repair And Decorate A Ceiling After Water Damage

This is a step by step video showing the process of how to fix up a ceiling that has been damaged by a water leak. I used a Stanley blade to cut back the lining paper then scraped off any loose friable surfaces. Next I used Zinsser Cover Stain and once dried I used Easyfill 20 with a caulking board undoing a couple of skims. Once gone off I sanded down with a Mirka Dustless Sander.
I caulked the gaps around the edges and then primed the area with Optiva Primer by Tikkurila.
Then I was ready to decorate the whole ceiling with two coats of Anti Reflex 2 by Tikkurila. Job done.
