- Humankind has the greatest/longest tutorial of all time thanks to this glitch that turned my entire game into one long tutorial.
This is partly a full playthrough and partly a Humankind guide with some tips mixed in there. But mostly I would say this video is just here to entertain!
I had a lot of fun playing Humankind, and I look forward to future conquests where we continue to re-write all of human history.

That was quite the historical jocular journey. I laughed I cried, and was impressed not only by how certifiably crisp agent 47’s wardrobe became ( being that I’m from Brisbane I appreciated your choice of the ozzies in the contemporary era even though vegemite is gross) but also your use of the words ‘whomst’ and ‘stipend’. Also, being so rich You can rub money on your wounds to heal them is the end game in real life which is secretly one big tutorial I feel. Hahah epic, thanks man 🍻
I'm glad that you could appreciate my contemporary era choice, this tale is based on the true story of the creation of Australia. Not many people knew they started as the Egyptians. And I apologize for the Vegemite, I need to find more Australian things to replace it next time 😂. Also, I'm glad you liked the video, your comment gave me a good laugh!
It’s like early Egyptian Australian scientists looked at each other and said, well Bruce, we need to invent something the world will remember us by. a condiment is the obvious choice. we have an opportunity to really stand out here and create a talisman for the people. It seems Honeys got a wonderfully delicious natural sweet taste that goes with anything and peanut butter has nailed the mouth filling salivating fatty goodness corner of the market, so clearly we need to make something so yeasty and salt bomb’y and void of all color and flavor that even ants would get offended by its presence. Only then shall we condense it back down and magnify it’s taste bud power by no less than ten fold again until consuming vegemite on toast is like a coming of age right of passage contest for the most boisterous and brave amount us. Sales you say Bruce? Yea nah, each individual shall only require one jar in there pantry for life, as the expiry date will outlast religion. why for the love of god whhhyyyyyyyyy 🤦🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️. Crickey
This video is flawless, man. I don't think any of the bigger 4x UA-camrs would even put a third of the effort into making videos.
Didn't know what to expect from a link on reddit but I am extremely pleasantly surprised.
actually agreed. the typical thing on some of the popular gaming channels is that they are making funny videos, barely explaining the game, taking everything nat the face value ' i did this and got that' type of deal. what happened to just idk playing the game and making a mix of assumptions and conclusions based on prior knowledge.
I feel like stumbling on this video randomly just made me realise how many of the popular channels suck.
Man... what to years will do to a mans sanity... You were practically calm in this one.
Blue balled for the nukes.....
Indeed I was very disappointed about that after 11 hours of playing. But worry not, we have another playthrough getting put together that ended with all of the nukes getting set off.
I guess i finally know what happened to my run. I had more or less the same glitch except i curb stomped the AI 130 turns into the game and realized that I couldn't get the game to end no matter what I did.
Also great video! This content is easily on par and even better than plenty of 1M+ sub YTers.
It's definitely an unfortunate glitch for a first playthrough. And thanks, I'm glad you liked it!
That whole, forced negotiation is frustrating. I found the only way around it if you've got several wings of fighters, is to literally bomb the enemy cities out of existence (then plant outposts and attach to your cities). The less foreign cities left, the less you have to keep waiting for more war support post-surrender in order to continue.
Another handy hint, if you're invading, ensure you destroy their outposts / admin centres otherwise they'll just turn them into another city when one falls.
This man had dinner twice and was still playing the tutorial🤣
I don't want to set the world afire... -epic guitar shredding hits you like a train-
379... in the normal game outside the tutorial i managed to play 402 rounds before the savefile got corrupted.
Its evolving... just backwards...
you'll never see your units moving as fast as in the stoneage again and after 2 or 3 nukes after the testnukes on your own country *facepalm*...
The sound has transformed into 8bit midi, the map has gone back to "fog of war"
and the round counter trys to count endlessly.
All in all it was the most promising failing attempt of a game to give me the old settlers 2 gold edition vibes we're missing eversince
And 60 dollars for a broken unpolished game wich corrupts your system is exactly the price i've earned for missing old memories
8:49 I see that you unlocked the american healthcare system for your faction
Watched the whole video
No one in the last 20 years has mentioned arm joe but it always makes me chuckle
Nobody:
Americans: There is another town called Memphis? WTF!
Education System: 🥴
For some reason I confused this with Ancestors: The Humankind Odyssey. I think this turned out much better.
How do you have only 2,5k subs is beyond me
I think it's something to do with the fact that UA-cam don't give you subscribers. You have to 'go out and get them'.
2 years later... almost 100x that amount
make more of this!
excited for some nuclear annihilation 🤯😏😩
Fucken hell, yer always fun to watch
A true conqueror
war crimes what war crimes?
it was a peaceful burning of a city and its people to declare independence.
whatever do you mean?
game looks cool
Nice 🎉
Dang, agent 47 is way too good at Disguise. Those are some Blue Morpho levels of bull-shenaniganery.
Your reddit HK nuke video brought me here and I like it
Welcome! I'm glad you're enjoying our stuff!
Holy fuck it was all tutorial
The thing is, this is a very good video but the thumbnail and title is a little less appealing but still nice work, it thumbnail on the lawnmower tier list is a lot better. Keep it up.
Not to sound like an ass, but you do realize that Memphis was historically the first capital of ancient Egypt, right?
Good vud
Gotta love how you finish as a communist, capitalist, colonialist, facist. The world's most based ideology
👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻
Humankind does Politics, economy, and war better than Civilization but Civ has better Religion.
EGYPTIAN GOD CARD!!!!
This has nothing on stellaris where the first 600 hours is tutorial
Was it fun?
It was a blast. Despite the one big glitch at the end there, Humankind is actually a more fun version of Civilization for me and I like the graphics style even better.
Also, I was never a big fan of the Combat in Civ however the combat in Humankind was very satisfying because they let you control each unit in the army and you get 3 battle-turns per regular turn to fight battles as you might've seen in the video.
It makes the combat much more fun and engaging, so overall I would say it's a very fun game! If you're into 4x games, you won't be disappointed by this one, and it's on game pass too so you can get a cheap trial for that and play Humankind for a month.
@@FLEEKAZOID Thanks for responding, there are a lot of things I don’t like about civ that it looks like this got right, but the thing I have the biggest reservation about is not being able to choose my Civ from the start.
This Video Is Not Completed Until You Have Conducted Nuclear War...
nobody:
Me looking at this video for the 8556 time
Map seed(code)?
I tried this game and God was it boring.
This political prowess is still 10x better than the crooks in the office.
