This is great, just done large shop get home ,check phone and there's my favorite channel. Coffee, sit back and enjoy. A3 if l had a penny for everytime lve traveled on this road l would be quiet well off. Nice to see not much changed. I was in uk when they started building the tunnel at Hindhead. Donkeys yrs in the planning but got done. What a difference its made. Got rid of the biggest bottle neck going. Portsmouth was where l left on the fast cat when l got out of UK to retire to Greece 🇬🇷. Beautiful roads in France. Extremely well thought out for the motorist and truck driver. Plenty of places to pull off of the motorways. Usually with a view ,rest up before continuing journey. LYON what a nightmare to get through. But on a return trip to UK l found a way round it and a nice hotel for the night. Great vid and content as usual. Looking forward to the next part. Stay safe mate .
Ah, there you are. Happy New Year, Ross and everyone. Bloody hell, mate, you don’t half take us into some tight holes!! Well driven, mate. How narrow was that village. God, I’m glad I’m retired. Laters
11:40 "bear in mind this is an A road" Yeah lots of a roads that are more like side roads! The A27 through worthing is like that. Great video as always and what a rush of a job plus sitting here in the middle of winter is almost making me nostalgic for the summer. 😂😂
I cannot work out if you're a genius and waited until deepest winter to upload this video or it's a pure coincidence 😄. Either way, thanks from bringing a bit of sunshine and warmth into my life even though my task today is to wash Alana's Skoda Yeti ☀😂👍. - Scott
Great to see the very first company that employed me at 21 (mid 80s) and a new pass (6 weeks) still going 'White and Co', within 3 weeks of starting work for them was put on European work doing GFA for the British forces, 2 weeks out 1 week back home then 2 weeks out again, great way to learn the ropes and paperwork so young which set me up for later on doing the whole of the EU for some 15 years..Looking forward to your next vlog, much better than the rest who just seem to love their own voices..
Blimey, just had this video on my suggestion list, never knew you were back recording. Last video I saw was 4 years ago when you were driving coaches around Europe. Resubbed 👍
Great Vlog as usual . ferry movement always made me laugh . You must comply to 9 or 11 hours off to get your rest but we can interupt you twice, make you sleep away from your personal space in the cab, and then find a space before you carry on even more tired
Always hated going to that Industrial Estate in Mitchum, an absolute pain! Were you in Crawley on Monday (20/01/25)? 2 x FCL parked in a unit in Manor Royal, a driver standing next to them certainly looked like you from the road.
Ah the delights of the A232 through Carshalton 😂. Have you got a night chiller in your truck ? I’ve never driven a truck in France but I’ve done many miles on motorcycles and in cars. I love driving in France.
@@gregchapman5556 We air con pods in the ceiling but they pull a lot of power so the batteries are done after a few hours. Try to use it sparingly usually 30 mins before I call it a night.
Did you use A10 all the way to Bordeaux? We always cut the corner off at Poitiers via N10, no tolls and plenty of places to park and eat. Duel carriageway, 80 kmph, laughs, but about 30 mins quicker than A10.
@@stevethepom But it is often is accompanied with oppressive levels of humidity which make it feel like it’s up in the 40’s while Australia has a dry heat so you can go much hotter before it feels hot.
You have to have 11 hours off for a ferry movement. Sitting in the dock and on the boat I'd only clocked 9 hours so needed another two the other side to finish off my break.
Has been a year most of the time but I'm trying to catch up. This was from around May and the next few were filmed back to back from late September through October.

It's not ideal but it gets you over the water.
Bloody hell weather's sure is a lot better in that London than it is up here in Lancashire. Pissin freezing up here 😅.

Thought so, C7 & D7 if I remember correctly.

@Nurlechaffeur I think I did. I noticed a National on one of my trips up or down but haven’t used it.
Another great video that sharing a cabin with a total stranger definitely a no as far as I'm concerned what's your opinion?
@@garyroberts8170 I’d rather not.

3:54 what was he doing on that bike 🧐
Once again another great video but forgive my ignorance but why if you’ve been on the ferry overnight why did you have to stop for two hours

That American flag will donate an American War Cemetery nearby. Although Sword beach was a “ British” beach the whole Normandy coast has war graves

When was this filmed
About May.
Nothing like an awkward movement to start off!! ...not sure I'd like to be sharing a cabin!! Bonjour!!
awful
Don't know when this was shot but if it was sometime May June 24 the American flag could have been linked to D Day commemorations.
I was thinking that whilst editing this video.
Confused. It's freezing in London now
@@slyowusu99 I film faster than I edit so this is from about May last year.
