As a Marine im sad they didnt give the Marines the KA-BAR fighting knife which is just iconic to the Marines and most of us carried at least 1 with us overseas. Beyond that lots of fun with the faction and i like the added details they added to kits.

I mean true but we get issued bayos not KABARs anymore.
@@Timboslice475 I got out in 2012 but we were being issued those kabar bayonets back then and even then most guys still carried a kabar in their gear for the field or deployment. Its a small thing that honestly isnt a big deal to gameplay but would have been cool to see in game lol. That and the m27 really needs more then 30 round mags its hard to keep suppression going having to swap mags as often as you do.
@@shireyed honestly, besides the antitank class, everyone should be getting M27s here with Machinegunners using the 240

The one thing that you do is you ALWAYS pickup the wounded Karma. I appreciate the way you play
Please bring back the saw for usmc 60rd mags are to small for effective cover fire. M240b would be nice for the MG kit for anti cover/vehicle balance. Other then that usmc is basically perfect.
@Dick Izzinya it's a great platform for riflemen or anyone else in the squad but 60rds goes way to quick. They could have at least made a special belt fed upper chambered in a slightly higher caliber or both.
Not to mention the fact the M27 replaces the SAW

Karmakut you and your team have done an outstanding job with this mod, I love it so much and it freshens up vanilla squad. One thing I notice is that lots of layers have tanks and other vehicles removed, but its not too bad of a difference
This reminds me of one of your super early squad videos where you and your entire team we stuck holding a single multistory building and there was no exit, only death.

I too felt the mix of M27 and M16 with no optics is very weird. Feels like arbitrary balancing

Very weird that like 1/4 of the enemies are starring into walls or are just straight afk. The secondary compound clear was comprised of bot like players it seems like, at least they acted like bots lol. Entertaining vid nonetheless.

If you wanted near-future USMC, just say that. The M27 IAR is far from being fully implemented in the USMC, so the weapons in the vanilla version of this update are more or less accurate, just with less M16’s and more M4’s depending on if the factions in Squad are meant to resemble first-response, better equipped units, or a full mobilization of these forces, where the latter makes more sense with the vanilla weapons seeing as how the USMC hasn’t fully replaced the M16A4 yet
At the very least, everyone should have an optic.

Better in what way? They’re definitely not a stronger fighting force than the USMC. If they were to fight the USMC would win every time.
