I like that they gave her a chance to talk about SEVENTEEN, a subject she really knows and loves, to help her settle in. It was a kind gesture toward an introverted, obviously nervous young woman doing her first major talk show appearance. 🙂

See and that is why Jimmy Fallon is my all time favorite night show host. He is the only one that I know, who lets his guest talk and doesn't interrupt.
Whenever someone comes a second time, they talk like old pals that are catching up after not seeing each other for some time. I love that so much.

Emma MADE the show ("Wednesday") for me. She was the perfect contrast to Jenna's energy and was so so talented and convincing as Enid. Her whole vibe felt genuine to me, she was the reason I kept watching. Hope she gets the attention she deserves.

She’s so charming. Comes across very humble and sweet. All the cast does really. I like that she doesn’t try and act older or wiser than her years and she still looks for mum in the crowd because she’s a bit nervous. Already so famous but doesn’t seem to have gone to her head at all. I’d be so thrilled if Emma, Jenna and this cast were role models for my kids.

Oh gosh, Emma is a CARAT! I just felt it in my bones somehow she was going to mention a kpop boy group! I don't stan them, but they really do have incredible music with some really talented group of guys who have wonderful personalities. So, I can definitely understand why she likes them a lot. I haven't watched Wednesday (bcz i don't have netflix) but i love Emma as a person. The way she took the muggle struggle of understanding SEVENTEEN'S concept personally and explained the whole "13 + 3 + 1 =17" bit of the SEVENTEEN agenda was so hilariously relatable to conversations that I as a CARAT have had in my own life and the way Emma talks so excitedly and proudly about SEVENTEEN is the most wholesome, most adorable thing i've ever seen on US television.

You know you’re a Kpop stan when you promote your fav group every place you go. Emma being a carat is everything for me, I didn’t watched the show yet but I am with her, I’m following her on Instagram and everything. Carats united.
To be fair, there were supposed to be 17 members in SVT before four of them quit before debut. But the 13 members + 3 units + 1 team = 17 is exactly right, and I love that non-fans can start understanding why they're still called Seventeen.
i think that was pledis’ idea at first but they never got enough members, the maximum was sixteen. some of the trainees left because their debut kept getting postponed. but thankfully things worked out great for OT13 :)

@@syed8948 it is not fake. There is a show called 17TV before their debut, and there are 17 members. Actually, back then “SEVENTEEN” wasn’t an official group name, it is just the show name. But when they debut, their company decided just to use the show’s name to be their group name. And there are only 13 people. So hence they made up with the 13+3+1 thing to explain it, which is kind of weird. But it is their company’s decision.
