Love how the animals nearby are just so chilled out like “yeah we’ve seen and this all before “ and then carry on chomping the grass. Fantastic footage and great sound.
My dad was stationed at Lakenheath in the early 70's. I'd watch the F4s from the runway light towers on the village end for hours at a time. Brings back good memories. Thanks
My dad was also stationed at "the Heath" from 70 to 74. I was LHS class of 76'. My friend (Wing Commander's son) and I would go out to the end of the runway closest to Lakenheath Village and watch the F-100s fly 30' over our heads on landing. F-4's came in about 72.
I, too, used to go up onto The Warren, overlooking the airfield (continue up Wings Road from the village) in the late 60s/early 70s, as a child to watch the American planes. My father was stationed here during the war (I was a late arrival) and we used to visit friends he made there every year. I have great memories of the place, the planes and the huge American cars driving through the village! 👍
Love it! Spectacular shots of these RAF zoomers. When I'm watching/listening to videos of aircraft I prefer no BG music. It kills the amazing sounds these supersonic birds make. I say this with respect.
Fantastic video love it I just can't stop watching it love it. 😀 🤙 👍 and I love going to Lakenheath it's fantastic seeing the F-15 eagle's and F-35A. " Fantastic "
@Harry Bristow It wasn't meant to shame you or meant to put you down. That was legit criticism. I enjoy the content, so I want this channel to do well. But the sarcasm, though? Come on.
That was cool, nice morning too, I used to get up at 3am to photograph dear and seals by the beach by my house in frosty mornings aways made for cool pics👍🇬🇧
I live in Vermont, all I hear is the sound of Liberals complaining about the noise of the F-35's !! They'll be singing a different tune when we're being invaded.
Greetings from Portland, Oregon! Great stuff. Keep up the great work. I have that same scanner here (BC125AT here in US), and I also have its mobile/base bigger brother...the BCT-15X. 73!
Its nice to see sort of a montage of the planes with music in the backround and good editing haha Im tired of just hearing the planes everyday because I live on RAF Lakenheath so its nice to have something different 😊👍
Great footage🙌 But I agree with the previous comments I would rather hear the noise than the musak. I was just saying this morning that I need to get to LN again as I’ve not been since the F35 arrived 😢
Well done mate, top work. The nature segs are excellent too and fit the plane footage wonderfully well. I’ll bet the Lakenheath pilots are well chuffed with your work. Wonder what Aussie Short Stirling pilot Ron Middleton would have made of the those aircraft. On 28th November 1942 his plane of 149 Sqn took off from Lakenheath to bomb Turin. Arriving at the target, Ron Middleton had to make three low-level passes to get positive ID but on the third, they were hit by AA fire which wounded both pilots and the wireless operator. Middleton suffered shrapnel wounds to the arms, legs and body, with his right eye torn from its socket and his jaw shattered. He passed out, the second pilot took the plane to drop its bombs. Middleton regained consciousness, but was in tremendous pain. Several times, he told his crew, "I’ll make the coast of England, I’ll get you home”. This he did after a few hours, with very little fuel left. He ordered his crew to bail out - five did so, two stayed to try and talk him into a crash landing. Middleton refused and ordered them to bail out - they did so but were killed by hypothermia in the Channel. Alone in his Stirling Ron Middleton crashed into the Channel. His body was washed up two months later. He was awarded the Victoria Cross for his devotion to duty. He was buried at Mildenhall in Suffolk.
Buzzin that. My nan before she passed many moons ago, Lived on one of the first houses on the flight path of RAF LAkenheath. The Top guy used to visit every sunday for a cup of tea to make sure she was okay. Week in week out! What a magical area and i just remember the Phantom Jets screaming around in the morning sun!
You nailed it ! Not only great footage, but sound quality ,music selection and editing. Thank you for getting out of bed on a cold morning and sharing great footage ! Merry Christmas to you, your family and fellow contrary men and women. Dean, Naval Base Halifax, Nova Scotia, Canada
I have a buddy that works for Lockheed Martin. He rarely talks about his job and when he does it's incredibly vague. All he divulges in are certain capabilities but NEVER anything on HOW it works. Anyway he told us one night that the F-35 has the capability of creating fake targets on enemy radars and even "swarm" a radar system and create dozens of targets that aren't there. I thought that was pretty cool.
Beautiful video, Harry. 👍🏼😎 Lovely scenery there with all the frost, animals and especially all the F-35s with all that vapor! 😍 Greetz from Holland. 🙋🏽♂️
WHAT YOU ALL WANT TO SEE - RAW AUDIO AND 4K ua-cam.com/video/dZ2p3l7AI2o/v-deo.html
Atta boy!
OK< I will let you know what I think. Don't take 1 minute and 30 seconds or 1/2 of it of a 3 minute video showing yourself and some cows :)
@@trvman1 thanks for your opinion 😀
No more music
Lose the crap music
The sound of the planes is the only music this video should have had.
Turn on off the music, we are here for the F35 and scenery!
One of the most incredible climbs of the year for sure !!!!!
wish you could hear the plane not hear a dance club
The sound of the jets is music to the ears so don’t need the music 😀
Like drowning out a Merlin with a jackhammer......really?!
Love how the animals nearby are just so chilled out like “yeah we’ve seen and this all before “ and then carry on chomping the grass. Fantastic footage and great sound.

Awesome video. Music not necessary.
Awesome video. Comment not necessary.
Music is always NECESSARY ! This video is NOT. ! 😜
Absolutely amazing I will visit this base ASAP
F-15 doesn't need music. It is music.
Time was we had an aircraft industry and made our own fighters.
That build up! Amazing! And then the drop.. I mean climb! Thank you for this composition :)
Glad you like it!
The teenager music in the background though.
Love it! Spectacular shots of these RAF zoomers. When I'm watching/listening to videos of aircraft I prefer no BG music. It kills the amazing sounds these supersonic birds make. I say this with respect.
I say it as well.
Fantastic video love it I just can't stop watching it love it. 😀 🤙 👍 and I love going to Lakenheath it's fantastic seeing the F-15 eagle's and F-35A. " Fantastic "

Well done, sir. God save the King (from the USA)!

Awesome video … sound of the F15’s crackling on reheat 👍😀
Great footage, really enjoyed watching that. Thanks!
Was stationed at Lakenheath 80-83, had F111's then.
music spoils it all
Thank you for your time and effort.
absolutely amazing...
Great Shots. Miss the days of when I was stationed at RAF Alconbury 90-92.
1:31 That's probably one of the best bits of aviation footage I've ever seen - great build up, music and spectacular videography. Well done!
Thank you very much!
um what
Man, I want to like this video so bad but the music just kills it.
Ah that’s such a shame, I won’t be able to sleep tonight now, thanks for the comment though

Wow...that take-off from 1:31 is just jaw-dropping! Thanks for this great video, greetings from Hungary!
Great editing, visuals and music.
Thank you
I live a few miles from the 35 factory in Fort Worth. I'm glad I can watch them fly without the music.
Yup I work in bldg 4. The sound of the F135 engine is unparalleled in person.
I live in Vermont, all I hear is the sound of Liberals complaining about the noise of the F-35's !! They'll be singing a different tune when we're being invaded.
@@mattywho8485 I am a liberal and still love the plane and the people who work to make it. World isn't as black and white as you think

It was so worth it haha
Best aviation shot ever, simply stunning - well done!
F15 footage as well very nice . I miss the F14 so the F 15 is all we have left that gives that similar sound thunder
Nice take off. Did the cows even flinch when the planes passed by, probably so used to the noise 😂
Did you see me wave as I flew by !! 🍺 😂 👍
That first one wow!! Brilliant video 🤙
Thanks 👍
yes mate, superb catch. brilliant
Its nice to see sort of a montage of the planes with music in the backround and good editing haha Im tired of just hearing the planes everyday because I live on RAF Lakenheath so its nice to have something different 😊👍

Incredible footage. Those F35s look magnificent.
What a great spot to watch them…
Brilliant footage .
Great footage🙌
But I agree with the previous comments I would rather hear the noise than the musak.
I was just saying this morning that I need to get to LN again as I’ve not been since the F35 arrived 😢
Please...only Jet-Sounds, no Music! 😞
The music hurts ... great shots though

Subbed too :) the video made my decision :)
It's just a thought, I don't think you benefit from the tune overlay. I like the pure sound of aircraft, what do you like?
I agree but the raw video with the live audio was posted separately on Facebook this is more of a vlog.
Great video, fantastic camerawork
Thanks, the muzac adds nothing!
That first one 😍 need to visit lakenheath at some point
Brilliant stuff
Tanks for this early morning impression review - brilliant! My tribute to all UK spotters delivering this amazing pictures and videos!
Stunning footage 👌
Well done mate! Amazing footage!
Wow! As a military aviation enthusiast myself, your plane spotting is great stuff indeed!
Beautiful England! Beautiful day! Beautiful Aircraft! Thank you!

Literally the most badass sound there is covered up by shitty music

Awesome video 👍👍
Great video and editing, absolutely love it, 😍
Thank you so much!!
Great video m8. Ignore all the geezers saying the music is " F-". Was a good song to show the true, but playful, power of these aircraft.
Working at RAF MARHAM for over a year doing renovations. Right under the runway noisy things coming in hovering.
Wish I could post my videos on here
Little less selfie time, little more aircraft please x
Beautiful video, Harry. 👍🏼😎

needs to be 4k...amazing
Great footage
Awesome video work well done!
first time I've seen your youtube Chanel unreal footage spot on all the best for 2023
De belles prises en spotting.
Thanks for a new perspective. That was truly impressive, as was your cinematography. Thank you.
this is an incredible video
Great video mate
Absolutely incredible video, thanks for posting (and getting frostbite for 😂) subbed
