Ok, both great portable Bluetooth speakers in my opinion. I really don't think there's a massive difference between the two, especially when you think the flip 6 is much smaller in size than the charge 5. Sound quality wise there's not much between them. The Charge 5 has a little extra oomf and 'openness' in sound but not massively. If you're watching the pennies and portability is important, its the flip 6 all day long for me. If money and portability aren't an issue, then the Charge 5 is the one, as it has just a little bit extra due to its size and extra 10 watts!
I have 2 of each. In my opinion, the Flip 6 sounds every bit as good as the Charge 5, if not better. The 10W difference is only really noticeable at higher volumes where you get a little bit more overall mid/treble output. The bass output is negligibly different between the two. I’d recommend the Flip 6 any day over spending the additional ~$50-80 for the Charge 5. Wait until it goes on sale for $99 and pick up two Flip 6s. You won’t be disappointed. Cheers!
This is not flip 5 v flip 6. It's charge 5 v flip 6. I don't have a flip 5. Read my pinned comment about this video between the flip 6 and charge 5. Hope it helps 🤞
I don't have that speaker. I've looked at it on the jbl website and yeh it looks great, if that is the type of speaker you're looking for. Its based on an older 'authentic' 70's design. Looks great in the home with lots of extras like Wifi and voice assistants like Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa etc. The only thing you have to remember is it isnt portable it looks like, as it doesnt have a battery, so it needs to be plugged into the power supply at all times for it to work. Its designed to be indoors and stay there. 90 watts of power so loud enough and the jbl site says it has a 'big, balanced sound, amazing clarity, and deep bass'! This looks like a great speaker for the home in my opinion 👌
