Amazing explanation. Its a story of political pressure, connivance of corrupt businessman and bankers and ignorance of watch dogs such as internal and external auditors, audit committee, finance staff and officers. Sadly nothing is going to change after this. The TV debates on this are full of low intellect politicians and media persons. Instead they should have got some bankers, regulators and auditors.

Actually sir In diamond business the security is bill of the importer because, the diamonds below 25 cents have no values and there is no agency for monitoring it. So you actually cannot fix tge diamond rate and only bill are the security and this scam is larger than we know.
Suppose there is an initial LOU of $ 1000 and instead of making a repayment of the amount by Nirav Modi ,that has been subsumed in another LOU of $ 2000 and it continues creating a huge pyramid and hence It turns out to be a fraud Ponzi.
