He has a couple good points, but most of them are asinine. All owners have to deal with city bureaucrats. All franchises grew in worth because of the TV rights deals. Just because an investigation wasn't complete doesn't disqualify you from wrong doing. Nor does saying since other teams did it makes it okay for you. Theoretically, you want it easier for people to get to the game along with leaving it so saying everyone has cars is lazy. Its a partnership with the cities, and nearly every franchise that has built a new state of the art stadium has/is hosting a Super Bowl. That increases city revenue and adds value to your team. Taking out loans and not telling your partners, is shady. The league is better off without him

I've been a sports fan for all of my 57 years and lived in Northern Virginia most of my life. From a competitive standpoint, Snyder was a bad owner. The team rarely made the playoffs, and he routinely meddled with drafts and free agent acquisitions. As a businessman, he exploited the fans for every nickel he could. As a person, he was a jerk: he pointed fingers when things went wrong and was front-and-center in his few good moments.
The thing he resented most was not getting the benefit of the doubt the way other owners did. Well, if you're putting out a bad team, screwing your fans, *AND* are a whiny jerk who never took responsibility, you don't deserve the benefit of any doubt.

Yes he needed to absolutely go. Not only for all the allegations against him he was the worst owner. During his tenure (24 years) the team only made the playoffs “6” times and had a regular season record of W:166-L:226-T:2. Don’t say it’s the coaches and players fault. Dan meddled with team picks, favoring players over coaches wishes, wasted 5+ years screwing up the teams cap number for salaries. Why? Dan Snyder brought in washed up, weren’t good anymore big name free agents. Their salaries were on the books for an additional 5+ years affecting it so much that it caused them to eat those cap hits and lose any chances of maybe landing a good free agent that would’ve helped the team. He was terrible and ruined a once proud franchise and driving die hard commanders fans away. It’s so good for him to finally be gone.

So... Other people did it in the past so it's okay. And if Bezos' motivation was wanting to buy an NFL team, why didn't he bid on the Commanders?

There's always that person who makes everything political.

@@jotac87278 yes, because NFL teams and players never get involved in politics.

@xenophonicus what's the point you're trying to make? I don't recall anyone saying to the contrary. The point of the comment is that not everything has to be political. You proved my point.
