Terrific video! Thank u both. I am trying to get my local Scottish Country Dance orgs to use Meetup well - SCD is aging up and fading away- and this is a great help. It is very sociable and we dance in sets of 8 people so it could work well, I think.

❤ Would you recommend running paid events every week? Or a mixture of both for consistency.

Thank you Matt and Dan for another great video, this has given me loads to think about and implement this week. I am finding venues the most difficult so I’m going to really look into it this week. Thanks again :)

The Pandemic changed everything even meetup. It's harder than before to get members to RSVP to events.

Thank you guys....appreciate the insights....our process has been slow in building our two meet up groups - 1) Canada Start Up and 2) Small Business Skills Clinic Brampton -- three things we are experimenting with 1) At least one event a week - we cross promote at least one event per week and sometimes have two or three events a week 2) Consistency - started running our weekly events on FB Live via zoom Tues night at 8pm 3) Making a big push this month aligned with Culture Days and will likely post 10 events in the month of october - big challenge is getting existing members to join the FB Live event via zoom? Any updated tips for 2020?

Just cause you have 10,000 members doesn't mean you will see them all or have a lot RSVP's over 200 at one time.
