This game has so much potential. It makes me feel like I am playing in an arcade again. The energy shield is the best skill in the game. It's so OP and can be up 100% of the time with cool down and makes unlocking everything else feel so much easier.
Dex, somebody probably has noted it but due to poor wording, the skill explanation wasn't clear; Thousand Cuts is an AOE in front and around you, so when the Ghost turns, the slashes turn as well. And it gets bigger, so it's the superior choice, coupled with fire rate and reload augments. The dev has been fixing the bad explanations and a few bugs, like the critical skill on Ghost.
If you want to see really broken stuff, try Endless Mode with this exact set-up you have now, with the saw blades instead of the air strikes(currently bugged), but with thousand cuts or swap Engineer with Hunter, it's insane.
Yeah, Sawblades are very, very good. The tank is tagged "slow start" but you get two Sawblades and you can easily start mowing down the common zombies and level rapidly.
Most of the damage I take in this game is from common zombies rather than the bosses.
The art and lighting in this game look amazing.
The only nitpick I have with this awesome arcade game is there is no architecture to traverse. I know it needs to be wide open, but I was thinking like interior spaces, like a gas station, warehouse, office, etc. The layouts don't have to be crazy, but it would add sooooo much flavor.
@Dex, just so you know if you take into account how much time you had each weapon the Minigun and the blade dealt almost identical damage per min, Thousand Cuts is almost always better. Minigun did 48,725 dmg/min while the blades did 48,931dmg/min

For the next time, go tank, ghost and medic and pick up minigun, crits, thousand cuts (if they fixed the dmg scaling), 1 hit invulnerability and all the life steals, regens, transplantology, cooldown reduction, fire rate buff, etc. That’s a brutal build, and allowed even me go over 30 min in endless mode!
Medic healing is good and all but engineer shield is far better. Don't need healing if it's dead fast enough and at 40+ min you'll get one shot by a boss charge from off screen so healing does nothing for it. I can consistently hit 44+ min with Ghost, engineer, and tank.
Thousand cuts was actually an AOE attack that hits everything around you. The wording on the weapon in game was wrong.
Blaster is good for bosses. It pairs really good with thousand cuts, minigun and energy shield. With those you will survive all the way til the end and then some lol

engineer electro bubble is good with high cooldown also ghosts 1000 cuts is an aoe based attack and scales really well with crit i actually prefer the engineer tesla as a weapon over the upgrades and well swats turret is alot of fun too

Thousand cuts + the energy shield is the best combo in the game atm since the shield can reach 100% uptime. Both together easily gets me to 40+ min runs every time in endless.
I tried out the windcutter after thousand cuts and was sooooo disappointed in the comparison. Thousand cuts covers such a huge area around you that there's no comparison.
Minigun tho... mmm tasty. Rocket launcher alternate is... fine, but only really useful for getting one achievement.
Still Engi level 3 opens up the game a lot. Get the Engi to level 3.

I wish they would make the weapons have no upper limits in turns of upgrading. Then banishing skills would be an interesting alternative than trying to get everything by end game.
Dex, when you're using continuous damaging weapons, you should always go for crit. Also, have you played Time Wasters yet?
@Dex try the test client of YAZS, they got new character there and new system of upgrades, it's kinda fun actually, though not without some bugs, like Protocol: Critical not working at all, etc. And the new zone is fun too, with undead worm and stuff. And yeah, Potato now does something 😆
I always chose thousand cuts when playing Ghost, because a fast aoe attack is so good for clearing surrounding enemy

Thousand cuts’ damage scaling is bugged. It will not interact with the other bonuses like windcutter does, so unless they fix it windcutter is the mathematically sound choice for most builds.
You picked the wrong sword :( 1000 cuts so much better. The blaster feels bad, but it's a lot better in reality. Now the medic's end game weap, no way. Also the teddy bear pickup is $$$

i was in endless for two hours and i was unkillable with tank rocket launcher, huntress explosive arrows and ghost thousand cuts and also have 22,5 per life steal chance and value so give it a try if you wanna farm money
also need a medic for his item Vampire Survivors [that one killed me]

On the other hand, it's not like I'd have wanted to get this over Vampire Survivor or Brotato content...
My biggest issue with the game is what the people choose to shoot at is almost never what I want them to shoot at
Game has potential, but skills need major overhaul. They are nearly useless unless its a buff of some kind. Ohwell let's see what they will do with this raw gemstone.

I want to love this game because I love zombie games but its lacking ridiculousness, maybe because its still on very early stages but the amount of projectiles and effects that happens in Vampire Survivors and Halls of Torments is lacking here

I honestly like the game the price is alright but I simply don't trust it at all its made with unity the assets do not match the art of the game don't know if have noticed that progression is pretty good the hit box is very lazily done since it harder to code hit boxes for the characters themselves and we'll I think the game is very very early still so I have it pirated in the mean time till it gets more developed the characters need to match the art first
