I saw on TikTok (I don't know if it's true) that the woods scene was shot after Chrissy's death scene. The Duffer brothers said they're regretting having had her killed so soon because they didn't know Eddie and her would have such a chemistry. I was shipping them so hard. That's too bad.

IN MY OPINION, chrissy and jason had no love between them, they were never in the same shot together side by side, their short interactions were just forced and awkward, she never ever even mentions jason and no matter how much jason claims he loves her it was more about his social image to him, dating the queen of hawkins high, he had this perfect image of chrissy he had constructed in his mind 'the good girl, always smiling and always happy' he had no idea what was even going on with her. Chrissy was the lost sheep eddie talked about and seriously eddie was the only person who would have loved her for her true raw self and in the little interactions between him she genuinely smiled and was comfortable around him their chemistryyyy oh gosh!!
I wish she'd stayed alive and they both joined the main gang. Having a metalhead and a cheerleader in the mix would've made the dynamic so rag-tag and mismatched, would've been awesome!! and of course, they would've been so good together, the chemistry is unreal 🥺💖
This song fits them soo well. And I love how despite having such little screen time not only does the ship have a decent following but Chrissy herself has quite the fallowing
After season 5 we need a movie set in alternate universe and get a Eddie and Chrissy storyline! Eddie was so well written and acted. We didn't get to see enough of chrissy sadly. Those two just clicked. The biggest "what could have been" in tv show history. Nice edit!
