    been making these for many years. I use cooked bones as well. I use pine pitch to connect them. Thank you for showing

      Thanks for watching! Definitely there are multiple good ways to connect the bones, pine pitch is a good option.
      We have follow up videos in the works to show how to finish the turkey call aesthetically - wrapping the connections in sinew and doing scrimshaw.

    I've been making wing bone calls on and off for 40+ years started with Thanksgiving Turkey bones Almost always withh 3 bones there have been quite a few birds that wish they had never heard one used Being a Carpenter I've used good wood glue at the joints and different wood stains in a random camouflage pattern On my first try I used Bees wax and heavy waxed thread normally used for hand stitching leather Lanyard on that was a leather thong but now all are Parachute cord. If I broke or lost one of yours I'd cry for a month and bitch about it for the rest of my life
