[Parry Tips] LV 5 Bandit vs Tree Sentinel - Elden Ring Gameplay

Please refer to below for TIPS on parrying the Tree Sentinel
The Bandit Class has the Buckler at the beginning and you can absolutely tear the Tree Sentinel apart with it.
1. Try to keep Tree Sentinel on your right.
2. STAY VERY CLOSE TO TREE SENTINEL to make sure the parry move succeeds. Buckler is small and can easily miss if you are a few steps away from the enemy (2 Gambling Attempts made in the video while standing a bit further from Tree Sentinel and both missed).
3. Theoretically all of the slashes, pokes and charge attacks can be parried. But I find the slashes from the top and the right particularly easy to read.

Tree Sentinel: First time of getting bullied by a little shield + a lowly tarnished.

I've been playing this game for a year. My first souls game. It has taken me this long to get comfortable enough to go back and try to beat this guy with all starting classes. I started with confessor and he is actually the easiest to kill sentinel with so far. I just learned that you can parry the mounted bosses like nightrider guys but I am not very consistent. Thanks for this video. I can usually get tree sentinel down to half health but I haven't beaten him yet. That bleed takes so long to kick in with the knife but I will endeavor to persevere.
