I've gone from zero interest in my garden to building 4 raised beds, compost bin and 2 successful IMO collections in 6 weeks thanks to you man! A proper inspiration, how an influencer should be. Looking forward to getting a full season in next year, thanks for all the help!
Come on you can do it!.. I got a basil plant on sale at the supermarket for 50p.. I now have 3 massive plants, going out to cut fresh basil to add to everthing is fun.
You need to learn to grow your own food with the way the world is you might not have a choice in the future..learn now so you're prepared..no fear just awareness ❤
My brother with special needs and I have followed for a while . You are a inspiration to the garden community . We follow your principles and good on you mate .
Started gardening for first time in life 2 years ago started with cherry tomatoes this year planted 16 various types of tomato plants broccoli potatoes beans strawberries peppers basil cucumbers and peas
My family and I are planning to convert our grandparents backyard into a full scale garden (we live in south Florida). I’m excited to learn from my mistakes and grow a variety of different plants. Of course I know there is a learning curve in cultivating your own food but your videos have given me the confidence to try!! I discovered your channel a few months back and your content has single handedly changed my perspective on food and made me want to live a healthier, natural lifestyle. You are doing wonders for the world and the youth should take notes!!! Thank you for everything you do 🤙❤️
I live in a desert environment, so I would remove the cardboard layer, if only because I wish to return some of the nutrients to the surrounding soil to that over time I can use that soil to plant more vegetation/flower for a permaculture environment. I also keep an entire are just with desert plants and maintain it for the local flora/fauna. We don't have much issues with weeds unless it rains, but outside of that not much is growing in the clay-rich desert soil I have. But I'm using everything else I learn, thanks man.
I built my first raised bed a while ago after finding your chanel and being inspired by your videos, i've seen your "short" videos with some delicious looking food! I'd love to see some more detailed videos explaining how to make the meals, a playlist would be amazing to teach people how to cook the way you do! 👍
I love your channel and so does my mom :) we absolutely adore binge watching and discussing our plants after. We’re also both vegan so it’s nice to see so many plant based recipes.
Setelah saya melihat video-videomu.saya akhirnya memutuskan membuat kebun di rumah, mulai dari menanam anggur, strawberry, tomat, cabe, bayam, kacang panjang dan sekarang saya mencoba semangka.saya mendapatkan ketenangan ketika melihat tanaman mulai berkembang.terima kasih
Every idea from you it s fantastic. I m approcing the same metod in Tuscany in area called "terra dei giulivi" it s free to visit and it s so close at our animal sanctuary called " ippoasi" thanks a lot
Thank you for great videos. I am switching from hydroponics to soil, or a little of both, and your videos are a great inspiration since I have a tiny yard in the middle of the city. Keep up the great work!
Just wonderful - I love watching your generosity of spirit and inclusive approach. You radiate belief that knowledge is to be shared for the benefit of all. You are part of the goodness in the world 😊 Thankyou . ....and I’m learning lots 😁
I'm 9b. Did you over or under water? Use good quality soil in containers or raised beds or amend the soil if you planted in the ground? Feed your plants on a suitable time line, especially if in containers? Did you plant at the right time for our zone? Did you provide some light shade on blistering hot days? Have enough sunlight for what you planted? Problems with pests? You can figure out where you went wrong and adjust until you get it right 😊
Please may I ask the reason for placing the ceramic bio media into the container in the part of the video where you speak about EM1 bacteria. Will be much appreciated.
Thank you SO much for sharing all your wisdom for free with us! My husband and I are starting our garden journey, so all of your videos have been immense help ❤
Love your videos, learning so much from you. TUVM! Wish I hv a garden big enough to grow all the plants I like. It’s hard to grow veggies with San Francisco whether especially the yard of the property I live in only hv short hours of sunlight a day.
Hello! What advice could you give to people who grow food in pots? I have noticed that my crops are nutrient deficient every year that I have grown. Thank you
You absolutely have to use good quality potting soil, freshen or replace it yearly and fertilize when planting and at regular intervals. Depending on your climate and sun intensity you might need to use shade cloth over them as the soil container gets much hotter than the ground. Also bigger containers than what is recommended if you're in a hot climate. I did containers for the first time last year. I'm in central California and learned the hard way. It was 100F and my pot soil temperature ranged from 100 to 125F depending on moisture and size of the pot. Adding shade cloth helped
Hello from Brasil, I Have a question please, the straw you mentioned is it like the straw folks use in gift baskets? It looks simular and I have acess to that kind so it would be good for me to use😊. Thank you for the tips and have a productive week.
Saving all your videos makes me save lots of informations, and reserving my dream to become a farmer someday, I love all your videos even in shorts. Always watching from Philippines ❤. God bless🙏💙
Wow this is great stuff of information and your last tip is probably an icing on the cake... Use all different methods that suit and will benefit your garden as per your needs. That really sums it all up... Thank you so much 👍🙏
I live in America and where I live there are SO MANY DEER that eat my plants every year Any idea how to keep them and other critters out? Cages don't work because the deer either jump them, or the rabbits, squirrels, etc either go under or climb it
I feel like this is so impossible I have a few plants but I fear I’ll never be able to have a good harvest. Between time, money, energy, and most importantly space. I don’t think it’ll be possible. 😔😭
I lived in an apartment. We had two balconies but they had good light. We had big plastic pots, those hold more moisture, really good soil and added a product called SoilMoist that held water. We grew peppers and tomatoes. Just 1 bell pepper and a jalapeno, a slicing tomato, cherry tomato and a zucchini. We produced more than the two of us needed for the season and were able to share with friends. If you can only grow one thing make it a cherry tomato of some type. Very doable
Same. Looking at vertical gardening videos helps. Greenstalks and garden shelves pop up many times. Learning with D.I.Y. ideas, soil compositions, planting zones, and native plants with vegetables/ fruits/herbs.
You are the most delightful gardener I have ever come across, love your hacks for zero waste as well.I have declared 2024 to be my no waste year and your hacks are just next level. Thanks so much! 😊
Thank you for making such informative videos!! Being in the city are you ever worried about what pollutants the plants are taking up? Does the no dig method help with that?
Is mint okay to use for the fertilizer? That is the worste weed in my garden right now. My mother planted it 20 years ago and I havent been able to elimimate it since then. Its too much for me to use at this point so I thought at least if I can turn it into fertilizer I wont feel that bad about it.

I love growing plants, flowers, herbs, but it is a real problem trying to grow veggies with raccoons making their rounds (squirrels & chipmunks too).

I heard that straw attracts slugs (or makes a nice home for them). I don’t know if that’s a myth though.
