These guys are awesome. They are adept at using modern technology and seem to be well educated, yet they still embrace their ancestors culture and heritage in order to keep it alive. The animals of the African Savannah are an essential part of this culture so they actively work to protect them. Even the dangerous ones. These are some amazing human beings.

They are doing a fantastic thing. More people on this planet need to protect our environment and the wildlife that inhabits it.

This is the BEST idea that I've heard of in a while. And these young men can use their many skills for a lasting cause. They are heroes and trend-setters! These lions need human intervention because the crises that they face require critical thinking skills which they do not possess. The African lion is a symbol of strength and perseverance that God has deliberately placed in Africa. It is fantastic that these men are combining their efforts to support these unique creatures in their time of need.

It's strange to see them all in traditional dress, driving truck around with a radar on top. It's like two timelines crossed over.

It's not actually very strange, because that's their modern clothing. The only difference between "modern clothing" and their clothing is that they have their culture behind it.

I guess I'm not allowed to think things look different then.

Im just surprised that this indigenous tribes men are so well educated. He's english is much better than mine. This didnt just show how they coexist with lions but also with modernization. I cant even drive a manual car and how will that car even last that long. Is it even possible to have a gas station in the middle of the wilderness.

Nightmare Nightmare Look at how disabled you are, assuming racism. Maybe because they seem to be TRIBAL and in RURAL parts of the country? Jesus Christ, dumb fucks like you is why there are race relation issues.

Ok...just ignore the other comments that will harp on race and so on, thats the first thing. Second, don't be surprised that these people are educated. Our media loves to describe Africa as a backwards famine filled continent...but think of how big a continent is. What REALLY is the likelihood that EVERYONE in that large land mass would all be the way our media describes?
I wasn't surprised to hear how well spoken he was or the fact that he drove (wearing full tribal gear) I'm just surprised we finally get to see this on screen.

I thought they were about to do some traditional stuff in the cut scene.... nope, they just went right ahead and popped an antenna out of an SUV with binoculars while still in their traditional wear😂😂😂😂. That seriously caught me off guard lol

Such beautiful, majestic animals. I wish it was outlawed worldwide for the hunting of Lions. Should be punishable by death.

Judging by the surprise in these comments (and how glad I personally was to finally see it) there is obviously an under-representation of educated, activist, car-driving tribesmen in media.

Why don't they raise the funds globally and ask for money to pump in water from the river to keep the animals from suffering and leaving the area to possible be harmed by poachers.
