If you’re willing to part with her now I’ll buy her from you!! Kidding of course, kind of…. As a former Flicka owner it’s great to watch your videos. I like that it’s just sailing: the sights and sounds. Thanks for posting. Keep them coming!
Love the sound of the little Yanmar banging away. Sounds like a paint-shaker at the hardware store growing up. How do you do without a head? Bucket & chuckit? I saw one Flicka (Kawabunga?) with a pump head mounted where the Porta-potty sits in the non-enclosed head version. Seems like a great way to go.
The Flicka is arguably the finest, most well built pocket cruiser. I am planning a solo transoceanic crossing from the east coast to the Mediterranean in about five years. The Flicka is my vessel of choice to do it. You have a fine sailboat. Who knows… in five years maybe you would be willing to part with her. She looks well loved.
Prices can vary greatly depending on where you buy them. Port Townsend Sails, which hand make the sails in the US, is on the high end with companies like Precision Sails who contract with Asian sailmakers on the low end. Could be anywhere from $3000 up to $10.000 on the high end.
Thanks for the ride!
Fun video.
Best Wishes from Montana! M.H.
Hey thanks for watching! Glad you enjoyed it.

Swallowtail is the enclosed head version. The pump toilet and holding tank were removed and a Dometic porta-potty installed.

Hey thanks! Swallowtail is definitely well loved.
BTW: beautiful sails. Hassle & Co? The set looks perfect.
Yes, Hasse and Company/Port Townsend Sails.
@@SailingSwallowtail How much does a set of sails cost? I might be coming into a flicka. Thanks
