Chime candles are thin and tall candles with a small hole near the top that allows a chime rod or stick to be inserted12. They are used for rituals, spells, meditation, and relaxation1. They can also be used in those "merry-go-round" thingys with bells or chimes on them, and as the candles burn, the rising heat causes the "merry-go-round" to turn, which in turn, causes the chimes to ring.

I have a Portland Leather Goods purse and wallet. I love them! The quality is excellent. I bought a sunflower yellow one for summer and fall and I’ll be ordering another for winter. Love your haul!

Chime candles, I think are for tabletop chime ornaments. They sit under the chime and when lit i think the candle heat helps rotate the ornament and plays a tune......don't quote me on that lol

I love thrifting! I feel good giving items a new life rather than them going to a landfill somewhere. My only issue is that the prices in the thrift stores near me are getting so high I can almost buy the items new for the same amount. It’s sad because some people rely on the thrift for all clothing and home needs.

So many re-sellers get on social media bragging about “how
little they paid for items,& how much they sold them for “, & caused thrift stores to increase their prices. It hurts people who truly NEED to purchase items from thrift stores. Just my humble opinion.

Great haul. I would have grabbed the old children's book & the teacups. The prices in thrift shops are going up because the demand is getting greater. There are so many shop with me videos on U Tube now that so many people are watching & starting to search for. You're by far my favorite...i love your aesthetic and I've gotten so many great ideas from watching you. Thanks.
I don’t use dish drainers, they don’t look appealing, I use a hand towel, use, reuse. Wash once a week. Gives me more counter space when not in use daily.
I’ve been wanting a dish drying rack like that. Haven’t been lucky yet.
I do have one of the wooden drying racks and I use it every day. I love mine, and the fact it folds up makes it easy to store.
My favorite way to style the milk glass and brass pedestal bowl is with either the plant or candle on it. 💗

I love when you told us about your fake fern. It reminded me of when I lived in town. I had beautiful flower beds that I spent all of my spare time on. My neighbor to the North had her whole yard looking like a magazine spread. I guess the neighbor to the South felt left out. He "planted" several rows of fake flowers. In the evening when I would be watering my plants, he would be out there with his hose, too, washing the dust off of his flowers! 😂

I have a space between my kitchen cabinets and the ceiling and I've been looking for a way to fill that space up. That quilt was gorgeous and I love the matching pillow shams. My favorite score is the quilt sets. I have thrifted many quilts from Goodwill over the years.I can not pass them up when i find one that i like. You know just how to style things you find. Happy 4th and happy news about the new blessing from heaven soon. Gods blessing to you all.❤❤❤❤❤

You can use the dish drain a number of ways. I use mine to store some of my cleaning items, like brillo pads, magic erasers, etc (in their boxes). It keeps them corralled really well.

I bought a purse from Portland Leather. I love it! It was very pricey, but the quality is amazing.
I own a wood dish rack. I like the way it looks, and it does the job. But my favorite kind is the old-school plastic ugly one since it can hold so much more dishes.

Back in the day (maybe the 80s?) I had that set of boat prints. Loved them. I wonder what I did with them?!?! Fantastic price on that beautiful quilt set. Oh, and about checking things out (I.e. opening up quilts, etc.), if I'm shopping shoes, I put them on and wear them around the store a bit, to test the fit and feel.

Chime candles are also called spirit candles they are used in witch craft, spells at altars and the different color mean different things
They are also candles that are used with the brass angel christmas decoration that when the candles are lit the propeller spins
The "chime candles" are the candles used in Swedish angel chimes. The heat from the candle makes the angels rotate and make a soft chime sound. A traditional Christmas decoration.

Congratulations to all on expecting another baby/Grandbaby! So exciting and the bunny blanket is perfect. I have the same butter dish. I bought it at a local church sale and it was one of my first purchases for my kitchen when my husband and I bought our first home. I was so proud to put that beautiful piece in my first very own refrigerator. 😊. I still smile when I use it.

Hi Julie, my kids are often telling me to keep my voice down because I’m so loud. Oh well, we are who we are. If I was there I would have snatched up those two black and white boat pictures in a heart beat. I have two very similar but smaller ones that I love so much.

I have that same square basket. It is for carring pies. Mine has a shelf on legs so you can stack two pies and it has two wooden handles.

10:52 I’ve done that before. Beautiful quilt! I turned a vacuum cleaner on to check it and it was so loud! When I looked up there were a lot of people that had come to the back and they were all staring at me! 😂 I’ve also rode a bike across the back of goodwill to check it out. LOL ❤️🙏

Beautiful quilt! I liked the small candle with the larger one!
The chime candles would go on angel chimes. The heat from the lit candle would get the angels twirling and the clapper from the angels would hit the bell and make it ring. Kind of like a Christmas pyramid.
Hi Julie, the chime candles are for a specific set up where the heat from the candles makes the top pinwheel spin and that causes the dangling charms to chime. We have a brass angel one that we put out at Christmas time. You found amazing things! I love how you show various ways to use the items and then where you ultimately decide to put each thing.❤

chime candles are for swedish chimes, it is a heat propelled chime, there arey two little :bells it has angels or clowns for birthdays there are spaces for 4 candles, light them and the abgels or clowns go around and ring the bells. When we got married in 1980,we were very broke and didn;t have a credit line so on Christmas eve my husband got paid and by time we got to the bank, all stores were closed except Rite Aid, so we did our shopping for each other, he got me a swedish chime...Goodle or youtube it, bring mine out each year!

I love foggy scenes. I have several art prints on my entry hall wall. ---I use a dishtowel alongside the sink too, when washing the big stuff that won't fit in the dishwasher!---A gal I follow up in Michigan shops for her two re-sale booths. Occasionally, when she's editing her searches, she'll be reminded of an item that she should have bought & her favorite expression is "What was I thinking?!" (about not buying it!)---I'm not surprised you bought that little brass candle holder. And you had my vote on using that soap dish for that potted ivy!---I never mind the silent shopping with the voice-over edit. I think it's the respectful thing to do for others who will also be withing earshot. I have terrible opinions of folks who carry on personal conversations on their cell phones when in close proximity with strangers.
I have the wooden dish rack which I used for a while. I did not use it long because I hand wash dishes etc and it would not hold the dishes well because I wash a Lot so I would not recommend it! Love all your beautiful finds. Ty for the information about chime candles. I learned something today!!!
