i'll be honest, i looked up "indie rock" and clicked on the most indie looking thumbnail this was staring back at me and i'm glad i clicked, really nice track xxx

Was listening to Rattlesnakes again tonight and sounds as fresh as it did in 84. Can definitely see influence of Lloyd on later Glasgow indies like Belle and Sebastian and Camera Obscura.

Their management sent it to me before the album came out, just to make sure that I wasn’t in any way negative about it. I can hardly imagine how anybody could feel bad about it. Have you heard the new album its awful. Old stuff was their best period! They were at their prime here. No other band sounds like this today. I'm so grateful we have the old CO albums.
Garbage is as garbage does. They were so worried about whether they could, they never stopped to wonder if they should. Generic forgettable instrumentals with shoehorned and aimless vocal melodies. It’s always cool to have a cool idea for a song but it’s even cooler when it actually works out that way.

Yes. It has the right tone to that strange feeling of "do i want to smile at everybody or just burst into tears?"
This is as perfect a song as Help Me Rhonda by the Beach Boys or Faith by George Michael or Help by the Beatles. It's simply a perfect pop song.
