this looks very nice, awesome job! I am thinking out loud now, but with profile rig we have for simracing and VR. I think it would be possible to assamble profile rig with a motorcycle seat on it and maybe a some random fuel tank to simulate that you are actually on the motorbike. And with VR tucking in will feel more natural. Since the FFB bases are relativley cheap these days, I think it is possible to actually create something that will simulate a bike sim rig.
@@MixedRealitySimRacing Hoping you see the message mate. I'm a keen motorcyclist and this setup is awesome. How on earth did you make that handle bar and throttle assembly? Appreciate you said off of ebay but you If you have some pointers mate I'd really appreciate it. Got a fanatec DD1 myself so that throttle is my sticking point. Cheers.
If you go to the community section of the Mixed Reality Sim Racing channel you can find a picture oh how it works. Basically throttle, brake and clutch are controlled by wires which are connected to the ClubSport V3 pedals. When twisting the throttle, it's pulling the throttle pedal back.
Were cheap no name parts I bought several years ago. I don't have links or brands. Just pick something you like which is controlled by wires which can pull something.
How to use realistic steering inputs: 1. open "C:\Users\"username"\Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\profiles\"profilename"\profile.ini 2. add [hardcore] directsteer=2 directsteer_maxangle=50 3. setup your wheel rotation to 90 degrees maximum in your driver profile (you might need to play around with those last 2 values to finde your sweet spot)
Direct Steering 2 with angle of 50 in the ini file. Base is set to 90° max rotation. In-game FFB is set to 50 but less. Sometimes the steering wants to shake like crazy so a bit less FFB might be good. I did use 100% natural damper and friction to calm it down a bit. I also disabled the Interpolation filter of the base to get less latency, just makes the FFB very noisy on tracks with rough road mesh.
@@ChrisBeeves Hi Chris, it's both my channels. Thanks for the compliment. I also want to try some bike mods for LFS and BeamNG to find out if there is one simulated correctly.

I once bought the necessary parts but so far didn't complete it also because of space problems.
Did you make the handlebar yourself or can it be purchased? Congratulations for your videos. Greetings from Italy. Tom 😉
The parts for the handlebar were bought separately from ebay and other sources and put together onto a Fanatec Universal Hub
@@MixedRealitySimRacing hi, may i know the brand of it , or do u hv a link pls? thx

How do i set this up? I can't find direct steer settings anywhere in the gp bikes settings?? I am looking into this for a motion platform project..
How to use realistic steering inputs:
1. open "C:\Users\"username"\Documents\PiBoSo\GP Bikes\profiles\"profilename"\profile.ini
2. add
[hardcore]
directsteer=2
directsteer_maxangle=50
3. setup your wheel rotation to 90 degrees maximum in your driver profile

Seems like it has potential... what settings, I'll try it on my own rig tonight.

And I'm using beta19 because it seems to be the best version for direct steering.
@@MixedRealitySimRacing Hey man! Is VR Lappen you too, or do we have another Directsteer buddy?
Nice driving in this video, it's not easy!

turn your fanatec around than you have counterstering
I have already counter steering active as the game simulates it. Better than just inverting the steering
