We have found countless methods to mass produce such a massive variety of goods and materials, sell those items for cheap, and still be able to turn a profit. "Research and design" is not a legitimate excuse for the hyperinflated prices of fundamental medicines for innumerable amounts of peoples. It is cruel, inhumane, and just disgusting. You don't need to fill the pockets of the powerful by dangling a band aid over people who are bleeding out. This is why Americans are not proud of their own country anymore.
