How to set up IVS Tripwire and Intrusion Detection on a DVR / NVR

In this tutorial we’ll be going over how to use IVS features on your DVR or NVR to create a tripwire rule or intrusion field rule and adjusting the recording schedule to record events.
For this to work, you will need a DVR or IP camera that supports the Intelligent Video Surveillance or (IVS) feature, you can verify in the product spec sheet whether your device supports this feature.
The first step is to access the interface of the DVR/NVR that has the cameras connected to it, there are two methods you can use to reach the IVS parameters to create the tripwire or intrusion field rules using local interface of the DVR/NVR or accessing the web interface of the DVR/NVR using a web browser
The local and web interface are basically the same so the process is very similar, for this demonstration, we will be using the web interface.
