Hi from Eastern NC. Thank you for your video ! I can watch calm artists demonstrating different techniques and color mixing all day. It is so very relaxing for me and helpful as I try to polish my skills.

Swatching never gets old. The buff titanium leans towards a warm yellow, so I would expect blue colors to become more green when mixed with it.

It really doesn’t, I think I’ll be swatching colors for life!!

I love "experimental" videos like this! One of my favorite things to do is mix DS's lunar black with colors to mute them, and to make non-granulating colors granulate. I've recently discovered that you can do the same thing with potter's pink, even the non-reddish colors, since it's such a low-tinting color. So fun! Thanks for sharing!

Thanks so much! I never tried lunar black before, that’s definitely going on my next shopping list! I might have to pick up the pink too.

I would love to see these mixes swatched against Daniel smiths gouache colors! Do they match or even come close?

Oooh, that’s a fantastic idea! I might have to get a few to try it out.

Yikes! You used the granulated watercolors! Not in my budget. How about a test with regular watercolors? Will the buff titanium work the same with them?
