Game is enjoyable, mechanics however will feel super odd most of the time...I guess they can't do more at this point.
Overall, enjoyable experience.
The graphics have come such a long way since SD2 but the gameplay looks exactly the same. Lol
Could say that about most games. Halo 1 and Halo 6, Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Switch, Zelda Ocarina, Zelda now, NHL 94, NHL 23, Madden 2005, Madden 23. Call of Duty 3 and today. GTA 3 and GTA 5. Street Fighter 2 - SF6 etc. I Mean at this point gaming peaked in the 6th generation from 1998-2004 with creativity and these days it's just graphics boost of that era

I remember 23 years ago when my brothers and I bought a PlayStation 2 and we saw the difference between the PlayStation 1 and 2 in graphics and performance in all games...but unfortunately I have not had that feeling for 20 years because games have not developed as they were before. Wrestling from 2007 until today has not changed significantly, unfortunatelyً💔💔

the graphics being improved is the reason these games looks so boring and slow now. trying to be too realistic. id rather have ps2 graphics cause here comes the pain is STILL fun to watch and play

I miss the days when the first smack down was released. The grappling system was just a directional button and circle. Or you can kick them make the groggy and hit the directional button and circle for a whole new move set and that was it.
For real! All these reversal systems and move systems make the game clunky and slow and glitchy. I'd still play if all that was removed! Like implementing a "classic" feel mode for those who don't want all those systems or functions.

Except for the ring entrance animations the graphics and gameplay feels identical to wwe 2k15. Maybe they just don’t have the technology to significantly improve on that, but still, it sucks to see

This game needs music like "here comes the pain" or other older wrestling game. This feels soo boring to play!
They haven't learned anything these people at 2k. We just want a game that feels smooth and plays with a flow, no clunky move systems or reversal systems. I'm sure if a kid played the 1st smackdown but with these graphics, they'd enjoy it much more!

Its like they put all of their effort into the graphics and forgot to make a game that was entertaining and fun.
When I’m playing the computer, I like to keep it on the regular difficulty and then it’s up to me to construct a good match.

The PS5 graphics are good but gameplay is worse. Pain (SmackDown vs Raw) is better than the 2K23 WWE. Also PS3 games were good compared to the PS5. My point of view PS5 really sucks
