This is way better that the crap New oeder keeps putting on all the Job division songs on youtube....They need some slaps for the videos they are releasing for the the songs
I got this in 1980... I played it over and over again on a tape recorder.... still listening to it now...even today. Best Joy Division song ever... the best joy division song you have not heard!!!
@Godloveszaza Sorry I respectfully disagree Ian Curtis and Joy Division set the bar for everyone else to aim for...They were outrageously talented, and provided a blueprint for music that no one could match..They had no peers imo..Any decent bands out there Fontaines,Idles, Interpol etc etc are definitely are influenced by their sound.imo
Powerful intense & heavy like an Atomic energizing Sonic 🌊🌊 Live from a Marvelous Smart Baby Band!PS incredible Live performance recording quality Sound 👂👂 that & Play Loud!
Gosh this has gotta be the coolest Joy Division music video I’ve seen
You Got That Right
Hell yeah, the way the guitar syncs with the flashes is genius, love the edits in this vid

This is high art.....and the British musical bar is set very high
The greatest song to ever come out of the post punk era, that no one’s ever heard of….
Never seen this before. Love it!!!! Can't get any better than this..

Such a great song.
The bass at the beginning. Is absolutely fantastic sets the tone for a brilliant song ,,,,, I remember everyone dancing like he did ,,,,
Probably the most imitated and influential band ever
That would be velvet underground and funny enough this band is a component of them

At the time……this was groundbreaking…..these guys could have been Oasis or Nirvana….
This here is not rooted in punk but in Krautrock, particularly the first instrumental part.
Fantastic memories! F.u.
