I currently walk someone’s Whippet daily. They really can be funny & quirky.... and I can’t get over how silky his coat is. Apparently his nose is made of rubber too... it bends to the extreme lol
I didn't know the breed before I adopted one. They are the sweetest dogs I have ever known, very funny, real little clowns, great comedians and ultra intelligent and sensitive. Not to mention their athletic bodies and their incredible runs! I don't think I could have another breed after that...
I see so many recognizable behaviors! I really miss our whippets. Our son brought his black lab home and we can’t get a new whippet puppy until it is gone.

I had a dog which was cross between whippet and german shepherd (don't ask how, the guy I bought dog from said that). Because of blood mix she was more bulky built. Apart from that she looked exactly like this one (looked bc she died over 20 years ago). And she used to act same silly! 😅😅

They look like a lot of fun but wondering... I see some furniture in some recordings are covered up. Makes me wonder if while they are having fun spinning around if they don't rip the material (or their beds) occasionally?
Hi!! Yes, they can tear fabric if the nails are too sharp. But here it happened only once. Some furniture are covered up because he sheds more hair in certain seasons. It's always about fun🥰 Thanks for your comment.

I have a whippet mix with pointer. We rescued her. Pecas is more whippet. Fast, sleepy, and sleeps just like this. 🤣
