I have a 2018 Rzr Highlifter and I have the same prob overheating. I've found every time I go in the mud I must disassemble the front end and hose out the radiator cause of the design it scoops up all that mud and throws it all right into the rad. And the only way to fix it is to relocate the rad. Sxsblog vids are the only vids on UA-cam I look forward to watching. Just watched this vid and am already looking for the next. Please keep them coming. I need my fix! You all rock! I wish I had friends like y'all .

Should do more shots where you tripod the cam with the first sxs, and the last picks it up. 3pp is nice once in a while, or like Ostacruiser does with drones.

For mud riding, it’s going to help a ton for cooling if you install a radiator relocation on the highlighter. Otherwise the rad will get caked up with mud and overheat frequently. I’ve ran into this issue before

Oh my gosh you went right past my buddies place where we are headed Thursday on Lake Superior tor ride. That was right before Coast Guard Rd. If there was any rain I could show you where the mud and water are. South east of GM on 443 and there a ton of 2 tracks off of it. Buddy looked at the house you are staying in as another camp for snowmobiling to get closer to some of our favorite Snowbelt Camps. Didn't make sense considering his place has beach frontage on Lake Superior. Nice place though.
Is this the same Coastguard Road that goes over to Crisp Point Lighthouse? We rode over there from Lake Muskellonge/Two Heart River during our vacation last year. Beautiful country. We loved the UP and plan to go back summer of 2021 or 2022, this time, with maps. 😊

Looks like a great time! Live in the twin cities and we head to Duluth (north shore) a couple times a year and see the big beautiful Lake Superior. It is majestic with the woods and the lake. So massive.
I like how you had to knock on everything through the entire house 😂😂 It looks like a metal free span building that was turned into a house. You guys need a toter and big ass trailer.
Loading the X3 "backwards" will put the majority of the weight on the front, which should eliminate any swaying. I've got a 14' long single axle aluminum trailer that I haul my Maverick Trail on, and it tows and rides the best when the front tires are 6" from the front and the rear tires are slightly behind the trailer axle.
Incredible. I actually have a group of us going to munising next week and one of our rides is to Grand Marais and beyond hopefully to where the rainbow lodge use to be. Around 10 side by sides w us next week. Great video. Might have to check that place out while we pit stop in Grand Marais

You guys need to flipping come up here to Montana and ride the benbo trail. Google some info and pictures of it. It's on top of the world. Deep woods clear lakes high speed low speed crawling mud rocks fishing camping amazing views. Nothing like it.

Longer trips = fire extinguisher. My wife and I are headed up to Iron county next weekend for a long ride. I will probably be bringing one with, aisde a rotax 3.5 gal fuel tank and a few other necessities. Good vid buds, that place looks AWESOME!
Kingston plains has a lot of sand! They rebuilt Chicago after the fire with timber from there. After they logged it the brush caught fire and burned everything there. Anyways.. Only the plains has sand.. Ive been on every trail out there growing up. Camped out there all summer and rode atvs. Wish I could have been there to show you guys some hidden secrets!
I'll bet the rs1 handled the off camber bumps and g outs pretty good without the sway bars! I take mine off sometimes for slower Rocky stuff and it's like going back to the jeepin days! They do so good without the sways. But when your just getting it ya gotta have the sways ... Good vid guys!!!

If you want to find mud try the west end or the south portion of the U.P. Parts of the Munising area are muddy as well. Gogebic Lodge on Lake Gogebic will treat you well. I have connections in Marquette, Gogebic, and Dickinson counties. I belong to a group that does spring rides down state and fall rides in the U.P. Feel free to shout at me.

Looks like you guys could have used some Wolfsnouts. I use them on dusty MI trails everything I ride. They work awesome.
We've been talking about trying those! Rick used to run em and liked them.
Give RZ masks a try too. I preferred the fit to Wolfsnouts. Both are much better than a bandanna though.
