It's good to have you in my office Ajahn Amaro it's been many years since I shared a Thanks giving retreat with you I think of you often of that time, wonderful discourse on Dependent Origination.Sadhu, Sadhu,Sadhu
Sadhu! Sadhu! Sadhu! These talks are some of the clearest explanations yet given. Venerable, watching these talks (from these Sunday vassa sessions) after watching earlier talks on these same subjects is to observe a wonderful increase in understanding, both inside and out. Thank you very much for your devotion these many years inspires others, well me, to not give up when I seem "stuck" (very terrible) or when even when it's as simple as the feeling that "the more things change the more they stay the same." Of course, this is a failure to recognize the truth of anicca. These discourses are a blessing to all who have ears to hear. May this reach all those whose ears are ready to listen and be blessed. Thank you.
Wow! I have listened to several talks by Ajahn Amaro but this is the first that i specifically watched and he is much more animated than I thought! Really enhances the meaning. And his sense of humor too, that "vidj-craft" joke had me rolling! What a great and profound Dharma talk. Sadhu sadhu sadhu.
May as many as possible have access to the Buddha Dhamma in this second sasana ...... Recommend reading Lions roar suttas ...translated by Bhikkhu Bodhi ...especially for westerners ...as in these the Buddha says it is only through his teachings ...The realisation of the 4 Noble truths and following the 8 fold Noble path, that one can get off the wheel of suffering ...get out of Samsara .....no other teachings ...However high or beautiful etc can do this .....I picked up the Lion's Roar suttas at Amaravati .... may all beings follow these teachings and realise liberation
one of the most profound dhamma talks I have ever listened to... thank you... metta

Author: Ven.P.A. Payutto
Ajahn Amaro mentioned that it was available to download. Do you know where?

“I like, but I don’t want” , that’s the way
Sadhu sadhu sadhu 🙏🙏🙏
Thank you ..../\.....
Does anyone know the extended chant he does in this talk? I’ve always loved his opening chant but I’d love to know more of it.
I think he is chanting forward and backward versions of Paticcasamuppada
Does anyone know where the “12 stage” part of the beginning of the talk can be found? Is it in the chant book? Help, anyone?
