- May the dog rest in peace, it was truly disturbing to look at and smell. Apart from that the yard turned out amazing and looked completely different. The grass really put up a fight and didnt wanna go down with the mower but at the end of the day we made it go down!

You men are angels on earth! You not only made the sidewalk safe for walking, but you improved water drainage by cleaning out the drainage ditch and sewer. I'm sure the neighbors could smell the carcass from that poor rotting dog, and you made sure that the dog will rest in peace. I wish we had more people like the two of you in this world. I wonder if the neighbors will maybe maintain the corner just a bit so it doesn't get so overgrown.

It's very possible that the dog died naturally and that was its coffin.

That may have been the case, but to toss the dog's remains in an overgrown property where people living near by or walking would smell the stitch is inhuman. If it were a coffin, maybe burying it would have been more fitting.
How anyone could do that to a defenseless animal is beyond me. Good job guys. It looks great.

They do that because mowing brings the bugs out and they are scrambling to find cover again. It happens in all the warm weather places. The southern US and Hawaii. I have fun watching the egrets watching the mowers so they don’t get run over while trying to get as many bugs as possible.
Because they stirred up the food supplies for the birds. lunch time !

Unfortunately, an overgrown lot is used for all kinds of nefarious purposes. Thank you for cleaning it up, mowing it down, clearing the sidewalk and opening the sewer for the neighborhood. A (formerly) living pet is not trash for someone else to take care of, especially in this heat. ❤️

You need to be careful when applying anything cold on your face especially your eyes. It can harm your vision. Just use a dry paper towel to wipe off the sweat.

I've watched a lot of your videos and see a disturbing trend where cities aren't doing their jobs by keeping vacant properties like this cut down and keeping drains clear. You guys are amazing, and tough, people to do a dirty and dusty job like this in 100° heat! Thank you for what you do and be careful ! God bless.
Cities don't have the manpower to keep up with mowing and maintenance because people don't want to pay the taxes to fund the jobs.
And another thing... where is the sense of community? Why don't the people on that block decide to clean it up one Saturday. Why wait for the government when you have to live beside it? You know you hear it... "It ain't my job" Like the dead skunk lying in the middle of the street.... "It ain't my job to move it" People didn't used to think that way.
You are both angels! You take care of the community to make it beautiful, make sidewalks passable and drainage proper. And you did it all for free out of the kindness of your hearts & in hot weather. I enjoy watching the birds come for the insects you scare up when you mow tall grass. At first one shows up and then another until a bunch are there trying to stay out of the way but too tempted by the insects to stay away. Its as if the first one arriving sends out a telegram telling the other birds dinner is served. Good job today. Its over a 100 here in Louisiana Toledo Bend area also. Be careful not to get overheated.

1. Maybe look into a steel brush attachment for the trimmer tool. 2. Drink Pedialyte when you are in extreme heat like that, in addition to the water. The Pedialyte will help replenish your electrolytes, especially for your dad. 3. Maybe consider wet wicking scarves for around your neck. Be safe fellas. Great job. I'm truly sorry about your find in the cooler. 😢

I watch several different sites that do lawn transformations. It sure seems that the majority of the yards that need the work are corner lots/ houses. Good work, M and D.
Perhaps it’s more that corner lots are more visible, as is the transformation? I’m sure some UA-camrs select corner blocks for the (literal!) exposure.
