- Explore Koh Samet island, Thailand in 2025, traveling by yacht 🌴⛵️
After mooring the Beneteau Oceanis 50 sailing boat about 200 metres offshore we take the rubber dinghy across to buy entry tickets at Koh Samet Ferry Terminal. I found rental scooters and hit the road for a 3-hour exploration around the island. From hidden coves and scenic viewpoints to the vibrant local culture, we try to uncover the best of Koh Samet, all while soaking up the sunshine and the laid-back vibes. 🌊🌞
Whether you're dreaming of a tropical getaway or planning your next Thailand vacation, this 2025 vlog is a good starting guide to Koh Samet’s beauty and adventure!

SAILING DOODLES is one of the most popular sailing channels in the world, known for beautiful ladies and beautiful sail boats. I was given the opportunity to learn to sail from Pattaya to Koh Samet off the coast of Thailand this week on their famous old yacht - a 50 foot Beneteau Oceania.
In a homage to Sailing La Vagabond, Sailing Parlay Revival and Sailing Doodles, I will talk about my time being locked down at home in Australia and the countless hours I spent watching these crews and dreaming of adventures like they were having.
Departing Ocean Marina, Na Jomtien, Chon Buri Thailand, I get to sail north to Koh Sichang, then all the way down to Sattahip and beyond to Koh Samet Island where I hire a motorbike and make a travel film there. This is the 1st in a Sailing Thailand series of 3 videos I'm filming and releasing this week :)

@@tonyh6846 Same thing happened here! I’m pretty sure I have my whole family some throat respiratory bug 🐛 🤦🏼♂️
Damn planes ✈️ I feel sure I got sick from something in the air on the plane. Wearing a mask next time
Nice, don't stop....
Merry Xmas & a Happy New Year all
Loving the sailing ⛵️ vlogs…. My bro and niece are heading to Thailand so I sent your travel insurance link to them 👍
@@wanderlustasia Thank you Willy 🙌🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻
Finally new video ...
Man, I’ve been so sick. In bed for the last week, no edits. On the mend
And in his homeland, bummer
@@GoneAdrift Get well soon mate, your content is awesome, always look forward to your new videos …
How long ago was that Sam. Pre high season. Thinking of taking a look there in February
@@snitchy87 It was a mid week several weeks ago now. Apparently it gets busy, but not that day!
I was there in 1988 and there were no roads.
@@daveduffy2292 you’re kidding!!! The things you’ve seen!
I was there in 1989. Other than the piers, I don't recognize anything.
Fascinating!!!
HF !! 1,500 baht / 30 minutes?
Yeah on second thoughts, pretty $$$
In my defence, I’d slept on a rocking boat for 3 days. No brain
@@GoneAdrift I hope it was an experience to never forget. I have slept on sailboats in the Sea of Cortez, but I was 15 then. Poor conditions are not as bad aat that age.
How can I get me there?
@@dutchie05 Bus to Rayong, then Ferry over
Is there anything graffiti writers can't do?
Hahaha 🎨
Not really keen on your boating videos mate...stick to the usual on bike or when in pattaya...but keep yourself busy
Don’t listen to this guy Sam 😂
