We just yesterday traded our 2023 Kia Forte GT for a 2024 Kia Sportage SX. Nothing wrong with the Forte, only had 11,600 miles, but… we are senior citizens and it was getting more and more difficult to get in and out of it. So I did a lot or research and decided on the 2024 Sportage SX. It’s a mid shade of gray with the reddish orange interior. After the deal was done, the sales rep spent a lot of time teaching us how everything works on the dashboard, center entertainment and heat/cool systems. It has the sun and moon roof which is really neat, very comfortable seating and lots more room in the back seats. My wife will be driving it most of the time, and a lot of the safety features on the Forte are replicated on the Sportage. We’ve had a 2013,2015, 2021 Soul, the 2023 forte GT, and now the 2024 Sportage. I think this will be the very last car purchase we make. I’m now 74 and wife is 70. We really like the quality of the Kia brand as we have never had any problems. The 2021 Soul had a recall on it, and the dealer’s service department handled that. Kia is really good about making sure owners are notified. We always have used the dealers service departments for all regular maintenance and if needed, repairs. This Sportage sure has a lot of elements to the driveability, entertainment, and function. Kind of like a computer on wheels! Very comfortable to drive, handles well and the safety features are first class.
@@karannayak3927 from a mechanical standpoint the vehicle was fine. But I hated it so much I’ve already traded it in. Didn’t go back to Kia. I’m not saying the vehicle is bad, it just wasn’t for me. I hated the feeling of the synthetic leather seats, I hated the rain sensing wipers, the dual climate and infotainment control, and just the all the automatic features it had in general. For me personally, I never hated a vehicle more and had to get rid of it for my own sanity.
I just bought a X-Line in Wolf Gray last month and I love it. Great car for a family of four. The Wolf Grey is so sexy but I will say if your on the bigger side the car is a bit tight and you may not be as comfortable vs a smaller person, short person. I am 5 7 and weight 235 and I need to push my seat back for comfort since I'm tall but I'm good.
Wolf Grey in US vs Steel Grey in Canada (Any differences?) Also, please upgrade quality of videos to at least 1080p for more clarity, Last request can you show us color comparison of Kia Sportage in Canada and review based on color inside and outside conditions
I am surprised that the hybrid model does not explicitly announce the existence of the "junction turning assist" feature. In fact apparently the x-line limited seem to have the most safety features compared to all other trims/models. It lacks the "door opening safety feature (or whatever that is called). Other than that I cant think about a safer car than the x-line limited. #KiaHyundaiChannel ,I wonder what changed between 2023 and the 2024 for the x-line limited.
Any customers saying they get a m sage from their Kia connect the battery is too low for the remote commands when there’s nothing wrong with the battery?
Missed the live - but ive been wanting to ask: how do you permanently change the cluster theme ? Everytime I switch it to another colour, after turning the car off, it defaults back to purple cluster instead of the colour I choose

Only 2 small things I dislike. 1) You can't disable the auto-locking of doors that kicks in once your over 10mph or so. 2) It's very annoying if the climate/info split screen is in the 'infotainment' mode, that it will flip back to AC if you finger slips off the volume dial and hits the defrost or climate button. Super annoying... so, anti-fat finger folks, heh.
That split screen toggle... boo. I am used to it now but the ORANGE one is active even though the words are white. Toggle to radio ORANGE but the words are white. Also, no tachometer changing on the X-line but you do on X-line limited? I wasn't even shown the x-line limited. I think there was an SX or SX Prestige. They should just go back to LX and EX.

Hi, Thank you for your question! Unfortunately none of the trim levels of Kia Sportage in North America are equipped with power folding mirrors. My best guess is they removed them in light of the chip shortage.
My side mirror folds and opens. There is a button on the door for that they even open when you open the door. The moment you walk near to the vehicle. You also can open and close by the touch of a button on the door
In terms of sending power to the house, no hybrid on the planet is capable of doing it. Full ev, pretty sure the f150 lightning is the only one that can do it. It just uses the charger so no other equipment required. But you need to use the $2500 80A ford charger or its not possible.

I upgraded from a 2020 Sportage EX to a SX prestige ‘24 and I have to say the Harmon Kardon Soundsystem in the 2020 Sounded Way better

Also weirdly Wireless CarPlay is absent in this car when every other manufacturer has it for their cars at this price point.
