Fun fact: Sunwoo (red haired rapper) is afraid of heights. This is why he had such a hard time with when he has to fall blindly off the table. He also is the one who falls off the platform in Checkmate and one of the ones to be lifted on those things in Reveal. In the other behind the scenes videos you can see him seriously nervous about it, which makes his live performances all the more impressive!!
idk what was going through the choreographers head when he decided to make sunwoo do most of the high stunts.. "sunwoo is scared of heights? ah yeah lets make him drop off a platform and climb one too" LMAOOOO
Thank you for checking these out! I feel like The Boyz are some of the only idols who give a real look into putting a stage together and it's so cool to see!
The Boyz are incredible, honestly. Back during predebut, I didn't know that they would ever get this much attention, but I'm so proud they did! The journey here was very challenging and they got hurt along the way, but The Boyz continue to show that they are a genuine group who truly love what they do. They are a family rather than just a team; and they include Deobi in that family, always giving us sweet words of encouragement and laughing with us. They are allies, friends, and supporters for their fans. Plus they are truly talented in so many ways. I really hope The Boyz continue to love their careers, even if haters try to push them down or M-Snake continues to try to harm their image.
Ah so glad you’re doing this dance practice series for RTK!! The amount of work that goes into these stages always amazes me. Would you maybe check out a guide to get to know them a little better, since you plan to react to them more on your channel? If so «A helpful introduction to The boyz 2021» by kpopluv is really good and also the most updated one!
Road to Kingdom convinced me to stan the boyz, i was always on the fence about it too, but after this dance practice and stage came out I was truly astonished and couldn't deny the talent anymore lol. I'm so happy I decided to get into them I love it here, they're so talented it's crazy.
WHOA, the Quest Crew mention totally caught me off guard! I'm so happy that other people, especially dancers know about Quest. Every time I see a KPop group do a backflip push over someone it reminds me of them and I hope that people know where it comes from. Thanks for the reaction and the insight into one of my favorite performances! (Well, pretty much all of The Boyz RTK performances are my favorite, haha. Looking forward to watching your Reveal (Catching Fire) reaction right after this!)
Thanks for making this video, they are super talented!! TheBoyz will comeback on 20th of Nov, hopefully can see u doing reaction again:) very exciting!!!!! xx
They made a standard of how a ‘performance' should be on a reality show from the very beginning (Hwarang performance) and everyone just followed their path
Also when you asked if one member was messing during the practice yes, unfortunately Jacob was injured during this performance and couldn’t participate in the practicing but then he performed with them, we still don’t know if he recovered fully by the performance time or not
When i first watched Sunwoo leaping across the members, my first thought was Questcrew back during their ABDC days when they did the backflip push which needless to say won them the championship.
You mentioned Quest Crew. I haven't heard about them in so long! I thought 'Aaa, yeah, you *are* a dancer. Then you probably know the I aM mE glide move too' and you did! You're the only person I've seen [or read in comments] who has ever pointed out that exact part. I was always mad at how they filed it for RtK, because they did it from above instead of straight forward which ruins the illusion that he's skating forward.
I don't stan any of the 4th gen groups but The Boyz always captivate me. I'm sure if Taemin watched this he'd be amazed. It's such a fresh take on Danger, plus it's a team performance! The choreography is so dangerous, I'm glad they didn't hurt themselves. I think their biggest advantage (well, it's also a disadvantage if you look at it) would be the number of members. I feel like it's so much easier to make cool visuals with so many members, but on the other side it's also hard to come up with smooth transitions and being in sync :) But they definitely nail it. Thanks for checking out the vid, I wouldn't see it if I didn't watch it here haha. I have even more respect now for this stage, it was already amazing without it though :)
Yes, Taemin saw it and he post something on twitter, just as one of Vixx's members did when they made Shangri-la, I think taemin must have loved the presentation
