People are saying HIIT workouts are out because of the new 'trend' to fix women's hormones. Consistent high intense workouts can actually be detrimental. Strength and resistance training are better options. Just sharing my two cents. 🙂
Yes! For me personally cardio (intense) has always made me feel awful. And screwed up my cycles. But lifting and strength training has been life changing! I still walk a ton and hike when I can but no more HIT for me
Fun fact: a lot of people do not get their period/ovulate while nursing. That is why you cannot get pregnant while nursing..Because your ovary does not release an egg.

I’ll be hopping on the train with running a mile a day with Jake so I can condition for cross country for the fall ‘24 semester. Also so glad to hear you’ll be taking piano lessons! Yay for a new episode! Couple thoughts right off the bat: 1. My whole life my dad fasted the first week of Jan, (so good job Trey) & it became a running joke that no one wanted to come to church the first Sunday in Jan because it was when he taught on the Biblical importance of a fast. 2. I believed my mom’s old wives’ tale that I couldn’t get pregnant while nursing & was shocked when I got pregnant when my son was 10 months old. I had to wean him because I was unbelievably exhausted!
There are so many times when I want to jump in here correct your incorrect opinion but I digress, you can use breastfeeding as natural family planning IF it's in the first 6 mos after giving birth AND you exclusively breast feed and feedings times are not longer than 6 hrs apart. When you nurse it releases a chemical in your body to block something blah blah blah. Oh and yes, you can tandem nurse. 😊😅
My dad was shocked when we announced our second pregnancy. His exact words were, "but you're still nursing?" ... Because my mom didn't get her cycle till she had totally weaned each of us
Be careful when you stop breastfeeding! I just stopped and my boobs got so swollen and hurt so bad. I didn’t know I was suppose to ween down myself. lol whoops. But the Doc said cold cabbage or lettuce leaves help, if cold, on the boobies when they’re swollen. Never tried it though. 😂

My wife discussed weaning our daughter from breast feeding, but she recently got sick and has been wanting the boob more than before. Try to wean soon if you’re ready to stop.
Trey asked why we dont do that with other greens, refering to cooking and eating them like collard greens. In New England we also ate swiss chard, dandelion greens, and beet greens, although my grandmother boiled them, they weren't cooked like we eat collard greens in the south. But you could cook them the same way.
when Trey was saying guess the city's we are coming to I was hollering at my phone Charlotte or Raleigh over and over. I had a co worker yell someone's excited bout Charlotte and Raleigh. I get so wrapped up in the pod I forget where I'm at sometimes 😂

I walked myself down the aisle. My parents divorced when I was 9 and my dad wasn’t much a part of my life. Not estranged, but we barely saw him.
