me too, deffinitely got to be my ultime favorite from them and bg...maybee, its hard to say, but this is beautiful work from EVERYONE...great from the dvd too!! best dvd (live in sydney)
Also forgot to mention, the concert was nearly cancelled due to George losing his voice,,, he still performed but you can hear some of the high notes fade away and the huskiness in his voice.. Must have been difficult to sing, but he still managed to look like he is having a great time.
@agypsyrover, that is so true. Once they downplayed her input on Culture Club's albums, it just wasn't the same. Of course, George's addictions became their main problem... but Helen's absence left a musical void.
This was from the last Sydney (Australia) concert in 84, which was broadcast live on Australian tv. I was not able to attend the concert due to working in the skifields 6hrs away at the time, but have a copy of the concert on video tape. Boy George and Marilyn flew to Jamaica a few days later and George cut off his hair... Great concert and a great entertainer
always brings me tears, especially when it`s live
Boy George's best songs are all his duets with Helen Terry. Helen brings out the best in George and the harmonies are just beautiful. Lovely
There has always been a bitter sweet melancholy about CC music .....I think that is it's appeal.... at least it is for me!!
Nothing Beats this Fabulous Performance with The Boy and Helen Terry. Please Reunite with Helen Terry next Year.
I will always Love Culture Club... They are original & Unique.
I do sincerely wish Helen Terry woud start singing again !
thanks for posting ! it made me cry ! George & Helen knew how to sing, wished we had them back

@perpetual61 ...Wow. Jocelyn is an awesome singer. I bet Tina Marie or Lisa Stansfield would have been a better match to sing wit Boy George.
