Can we all agree that Skylander lore is criminally underrated. There are so many good world building elements here
Except most of Imaginators which tore the lore floorboard out and put in dollar store carpet replacement in.

Definitely. I wish they would flesh out different enemy groups more. This could be trolls, greebles, chompies, drows, arkeyans, undeads, imps, the list goes on

45:12 if you go into the chompy area and use a lightcore Skylander, the blast is supposed to kill all of the chompies, but there are so many it just crashes the game
Wilikin Village also has a haunted house which has creepiness written all over it, also Kaos’ Kastle hints at Wilikins meeting grizzly deaths in the sawing rooms, maybe that poor Wilikin ghost girl was killed in the saws, also I like how Kaos accidentally created a brand new intelligent species in Skylands that can reproduce and settle towns. When I first played Giants back in the day I was terrified of that house and it didn’t help that it had specific creepy music.

That Tech gate in candavers cavern or whatever, from SSA, actually forces you to start the entire level over if you fail the challenge. At least in the Wii version.

The Dread-yacht is canonically cursed to break down a lot.
Also, Kaos has been making soda for a while, as it's mentioned in dialogue by a Wilikin in Kaos' Castle in Giants.
That hidden Life gate from the early level really messed with me. After basically giving up, I was exploring with Kamo and thought maybe you could fall down from that ledge. I noticed that a bridge could build, and through the rest of the time I played, I kept thinking there were other hidden paths for Life Skylanders to open, just like how water ones could go across water and through whirlpools.
I have a dark theory, the Wilikins were slaves, before Kaos abandoned them and allowed the less loyal ones to leave and found their own towns and start families becoming an independent species, the Wilikins were slaves to Kaos doing whatever he wanted, also in Wilikin Workshop and Kaos’ Kastle only the most loyal Wilikins remained.
Isn’t it implied that the willikins are kaos’s handmade friends?
@@daforkgaming3320 yeah, I can't pin point exactly where but I think that's said in the story scrolls or in the Wilikin Workshop level from trap team by Kaos himself
@@0z0nedwellerproductions5 so yeah, they were toys kaos made to be his friends when he was lonely. The saw room was probably Kaos making a willikin, not a willikin getting sawed apart. I’m also pretty sure some of the willikins say “master used to play with us” or so,etching similar.
The level always gave me chills as a kid. It was also the first level I was somewhat stuck on and was just scared, stuck on the level for so long, feeling lost, while that eerie music fills my mind

49:00 How could you miss this? In Skylanders Giants, on Chapter 9 Kaos's Kastle. On the right set of stairs, it leads to a room full of barrels. According to a Willikin there, they were filled with Eel, sand and other disgusting flavors of soda that he doesn't recommend. It was mentioned back in Giants!

49:00 In skylanders giants there is a NPC in Kaos' Kastle who said that Kaos had a soda company but it didn't sell well because the flavors were only sand mud and radioactive eel
I think stealth elf being forgotten in the front garden is referencing a skylanders Easter ad. All the skylanders in their toy forms were hiding for children to find them (this was an ad targeted to children, it wasn’t supposed to make sense or be canon) all skylanders hide in easy to find spots, while stealth elf hides inside some sort of bush. The kids come, collect all the skylanders but can’t find stealth elf. She stays their even after night
49:40 stump smash and double trouble can swim in water because they both have soul gems allowing them to do so. Stump smash has “Waterlogged” while double trouble has “Water Walker”
It is very cool that 3 scrapped Skylanders are in N. Sane Trilogy! Still a shame we never got to see them in Imaginators year 2.

The stealth elf forgotten in the front garden could be talking about a Skylanders Easter commercial that came out around Skylanders giants where kids were hunting Easter eggs and found Skylanders all over the garden however stealth elf was forgotten

I really wish we could've gotten more of the Stone Monkey, the Superchargers map with them is cool and all but it's a Superchargers map, not to mention if you want it it'll cost you like 70 dollars, or you can do it in Imaginators but I just don't want to do that

Fun surface level glitch (although very painful to fix) is the Xbox One "Slow-Motion" Glitch. where everything is at least 5 times slower.
it occurs in TT, SSC, and Imaginators. (each game made it less and less painful)
The ghost roaster story more so goes that olav wanted to make sheep wool stew and found a purple sheep on the edge of a cliff. After falling into the valley he was transformed into a ghoul then ate everyone.

the theory that spyro and cynder are in heaven is also easily disproven by the fact that they literally didnt die at the end of dotd. the chronicler specifically tells ignitus that if they were dead, their history or names or something would appear in the books he guards and tends (or something along these lines, i cant really recall), but he cant locate them anywhere. which implies that theyre alive, even if theyre in another plane of existence now. however, its easy to see that skylands (or at least its humble beginning, spyro's kingdom) clearly draws its inspiration from the floating islands spyro and cynder land at after the catalyst in the end of dotd. one thing i love about spyro is even though his three iterations are to be taken as different universes and entities, they all call back to each other and build from each other in a non-evasive way.
What a shame that Princess Peach wasn't playable in Skylanders franchise, She could be Air elemental (her main weapon should be an umbrella)

This is actually refering to a Skylanders Giants easter advert where the figures are hiding, and at the end Stealth Elf is still hiding in the hose she was hiding in since the begining.

Blobbers did return in Imaginators and even had him as a major character in the Imaginite Mines I believe it was called.
For the cursed dread yaht there is a rare voice line in the customize room when you access the menu, the mabu there will mention how the the ship has a curse

The oracle game crash specifically refers to if you play the wii version and go the chompy area and if you use a lightcore the game crashes because the wii cant handle so many enemys

Idk if u did a video on this yet ik u did something with how much to own all skylanders but if u would do a how much each game cost with its individual starter pack,skylanders, variants, and dlcs/extras that would be cool at base price btw not people charging thousands for one. I missed out on super chargers and imaginators so I’d like to see how much money the figures and stuff were for that game cause I remember the giants and trap masters were crazy it was like 12-15 bucks for them and just traps themseleves were like 10 bucks for the light/ dark ones and u needed a separate one for kaos himself which is such a rip off lol they make them for like 3 bucks Atleast and overcharge but that’s what the whole toys to life saga was and we all still bought them
In my school vr game there's a boss called shattered giya she's a monstrous entity that is goalius from are world she was originally a arkeyan conquertron and became a hybrid due to being in are atmosphere she took on some heavy hitting mobile suits like the barbatos lupas rex graze ein and kimaris vidar ultimately it took are goalius with are iron fist of Arkus and pendulum prime ( or penny for short or if you want to sound cute vixybee ) with the dreadsleft to defeat her and trap her in a traptainium snow globe

At 28:53 to 29:09 it's not really a Theory per say since the skylands miniverse was mentioned in skylanders lost islands in the bios of the minis/sidekicks.
32:41 I don’t think this theory is true, I think after Spyro and cynder sacrificed themselves to save the world eon probably revived them after there near death Experience and took them to skylands where they became skylanders , this could explain why they are in the game series in the first place.

The skylanders 7 characters are clearly not senseis nor for imaginators 2.the most basic thing about non villain senseis is they all wear golden ropes around their waists, while these do not.
They could've done vathek a dark element skylander maybe for future generations/reference of skylanders games

Seems I’m a master of skylands, since I have quite a few dark skylanders, with only dark versions of ninja stealth elf, slobber tooth, mega ram spyro, wash buckler, blast zone and wildfire.

I have a theory. I believe whoever made ro bows weapon also made drill sergeant. Take a look at ro bows bow and drill sergeant. They have the same color scheme and the gears on drill sergeants legs are the same shape as the ones on ro bows weapon. Could this mean ro bow and drill sergeant are related?
